These polls don’t look remotely like any other polls that I have seen-including the ever left leaning Gallup Poll. In one chart the yearly increments are different jumping from year 2002 to 2010. These numbers look fudged. They can fudge the numbers all they want. It doesn’t put people back to work or food on the table. November is approaching.

I’d like to see another Washington DC rally on the anniversary of the Tea Party, Sept 12.

The left has laughed at the “Tea Party” from the beginning.

And apparently, you're laughing too, which makes you the friend of my enemy.

The “Tea Party” proved that the left has nothing at all to fear.

Have you been asleep since April of 2009? The Tea Party has scared the bejeezus out of the left, or did you really believe that all of the attacks on us were simple ridicule?

Sounds to me like you bought the state-run media propaganda about the Tea Party, hook, line, and sinker.

I didn’t like it when they formed it, and I still don’t like it.

By all means, we conservatives should never have forgotten our "place". We should have never stood up by the millions across this country and said, "Hell NO!"

I have respected your posts in the past, but your condemnation of the Tea Party is one of the most self-destructive things I've seen posted around here in a long time.

“the friend of my enemy”?

Please.

I attended my share of these events, W. They got off to a bad start and they got worse as they went, ending in Nancy Pelosi mocking them all after they passed CommieCare with her giant gavel, civil-rights-march-esque parade right through their ranks.

“stood up”

There was no standing up.

Standing up would have been showing up in numbers to intimidate the hell out of the many overt/very public gatherings of socialist groups, union groups, etc.

They hold a meeting of socialists on my block you bet your *ss I’m showing up 100+ deep to get the message across that I don’t want them in my neighborhood.

Did that every happen? Did anything even CLOSE to that happen as a result of the “Tea Party”? No.

Back in the day they would have gotten their heads thumped for DARING to gather in most towns in this country.

Am I advocating violence? Well, I think it’s up to those whose neighborhood is threatened by these leftist a-holes.

I’m not above it. I can tell you that much.

That’s all I’m going to say about that.

Look, I’m not condemning those who participated, I participated. I don’t think it was effective.

Imagine what would have happened in the 50’s or 60’s if they tried this. Well, it didn’t/wouldn’t happen because they knew they would have had their heads handed to them.

That kind of energy was completely absent. They have their way with the opposing American public and everyone stands down and waits for “November.” “Everything will be wonderful if we can just make it to November!”

It’s no surprise that the left is doing what they’re doing. Hell, they’ve been working hard on their plans for America for at least a hundred years.

What is painfully shocking is the half-dead response from the American people.

The paradigm is shifting. I can feel it. We are in the fight of our lives, and the lives of our children, and the vast majority do not get it, or they just do not want to see the truth of our predicament.

I believe that one of the reasons that history repeats is because the future gets a new wardrobe. Meaning, communism today is going to have a totally different face/facade than it did thirty years ago, and in a foreign country.

Even though it resulted in the deaths/murders of at least one hundred million people just last century, we can fool ourselves into believing that it can’t happen here, or that a “Tea Party” is sufficient resistance to what is clearly the prelude to this nightmare.

Communism is like a species-level addiction. If I believed in Satan I would fully believe that communism was his creation.

I believe we are in grave danger, W. We would have huge issues to overcome even without the collectivist threat.

That a “Tea Party” would be looked upon as the appropriate response this assault on the fundamentals of human freedom is an awful sign of how lost we are.

“George Stephanopoulos touted how “we’ve got a new poll out tonight that shows the Tea Party may be losing steam nationwide””

Who makes up these fake poll numbers? The entire left, it seems, is trying to paint a picture of the Tea Party movement fading.

In your dreams, Demonrats, in your dreams. Don’t you wish it would fade away!

I see where you are. You want Revolution II right now.

I agree with you. It should have already been over and the republic restored, but reality is reality.

Even Revolution I didn’t begin overnight. There was a process of building anger over the wrongs committed by the crown against the American people which eventually culminated in an outbreak of hostilities.

It’s no different now, except for the fact that the current breed of tyrants learned a great deal from our history and understood that they couldn’t simply steal our freedoms all at once, nor did they dare to spur us to rebellion by over-reaching like so many failed dictators have.

They were modern, and very smart about implementing their plans. They used incrementalism to slowly accustom us to less and less freedom, and more and more government control. That method ensured that the people remained quiet and under-concerned about the changes.

In this way, the abuses of power and the destruction of liberty in this country grew with little opposition, to a level that would have resulted in treason trials and hangings, had it been done in a time-compressed fashion.

In 2006, a new breed of leftist radicals took over Congress. They broke with the tried and true timetable of their mentors, and accelerated the drive toward their Marxist Utopian goal. On the way, they also managed to get a doctrinaire Marxist elected to the Presidency.

It was this that woke the people up. Not since the Civil War era have so many ordinary Americans been up in arms about the direction of the country. They’re angry, and they’re engaged.

Right now it’s a war of bullhorns and ballots. We will see if that is all that is required to right our ship of state and put us back on the path to the restoration of our Founding character. If it proves to be insufficient, then the anger will rise, and the people will take their rebellion to the next logical level.

I’m convinced that the fuse has been lit on something that cannot be extinguished. The thing is coming to a head. How it is resolved is the only question. That it will be resolved is certain.

By the way, got any “surveys” about the way the public feels about your unions? SEIU and the rest of those Nazis? Hmmmmmm?

Yeah

“I’m convinced that the fuse has been lit on something that cannot be extinguished.”

I hope you are right.

But it will take a lot more than an election to restore this country.

Make no mistake, W, these people will do us all much harm. Only they don’t win the battle by facing us. They are working to change a belief system. They don’t need guns to achieve their end, they only need to change our minds.

For example: Why do think they are working so damned hard to increase the numbers of government “employees”? As soon as they are hired their livelihood depends on the government, and they will defend their paychecks, won’t they?

It is insidious and highly deadly. That’s why I called it an “addiction.” The masses can get “hooked” on total dependence much more easy than you might think.

With total dependence always comes total control, and then the bodies start dropping.

At the moment, it appears the damage being done is far off in the distance. But very soon, it will be each of us wondering how we will cope with our new lives under an oppressive government.

We should be fighting them, but we are waiting, and it’s the waiting that will destroy us.

The whole objective of the hard left is to confound our ability to recognize danger and defend ourselves.

This starts with Political Correctness, which serves to undermine your ability to pass judgement (recognize a threat), i.e., they are not “terrorists”, but “freedom fighters”

It ends with Muslims building mosques right next to the WTC, and opening said mosque on 9/11.

It ends with lighting up the Empire State Building with the colors of Communist China!

It ends with Communist China providing books for American school children (Los Angeles) to “teach the Chinese language and culture.”

It ends with labeling Conservatives/right-wingers and “extremists” or “domestic terrorists” (MIAC Report)

It ends with CEO’s being effectively fired by a sitting POTUS and that corporation being swallowed by the government and handed to union thugs.

and on, and on, and on...

It won’t stop there, W. They will never stop. Next week, next month, next year will always bring another great cause, another great need that must be “remedied” with the ever-increasing “shared sacrifice” of the American citizen.

The effect of this WILL BE CHAOS, which of course will be met by more and more force and coercion...which leads to more chaos, which leads to more force and coercion...which leads to more chaos...

You get the point, I’m sure.

Perhaps people view them as pesky liberal fools now, but they will morph into death-on-wheels, given enough time and enough room to grow.

This is why I want to fight now.

I think we are fighting them, just not with torches, pitchforks and muskets, just yet. I don't believe we're waiting at all. That's what all this Tea Partying is about. Ordinary people across the country are now more engaged in political activism than at probably anytime in our history - and it's building.

You worry that the left is still smoothly stealing our birthright from us, but I submit that the center-right in this country has awoken from their slumber, and are now very educated and enlightened about what's been done to us by the liberal left.

Pelosi, Reid, and Obama have done us all a great service by personally causing that awakening. Now that the people are engaged and on the move, there will be no stopping them until they have put this country back on the true American track.

The days of the steady and relentless dismantling of our culture and our basic foundations is over. I know we're seeing quite a lot of jack-hammering going on now, but that is the last furious efforts by the left to collapse the edifice while they (think) they still can.

They will not be successful, for far too many reasons than I can go into here. The point is, the people are awake. They are alert. They want the bastards out, and they intend to reverse nearly everything the left has constructed in our lifetimes. The genie is out of the bottle, and there's no way to put it back. The people will not be denied on this.

It may not be moving as fast as you would like, but it is moving, and now that it is, the momentum will grow until it reaches its destination, which is a restored America.

Again, I hope you are right. You are more confident in this matter than I am, that’s plain.

I can't help but be, Boucheau. The fervor of rebellion surrounds us. I simply acknowledge that it's there, and that it's growing.

It took a lot of years before we got to Lexington and Concord, but any man of the day would have noticed the anger rising throughout his town over time. That anger eventually burst forth because the oppression and depredations didn't cease, even though every civil means had been tried to address the issues at hand.

We're again exhausting all civil means to achieve our ends. It remains to be seen whether or not we'll be forced to escalate things (again) to achieve them.

ABC News/Washington Post survey, released Tuesday morning ...

Georgie, a 'Rat operative whose current gig at ABC gives him the podium & microphone to spew his liberal drivel relies heavily on highly biased polling data. ABC News/Washington Post survey? Give me a freaking break.
