LEHIGHTON, Pennsylvania, June 8, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A 30-year old Pennsylvania man has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl and burying the body of their child after she performed a home abortion on herself with a pencil.
The girl attempted to perform the abortion on herself on Wednesday, June 2. Over the next three days she became extremely ill and went into labor. After she called her 30-year-old boyfriend, he told her to "push hard," according to the Pocono Record, and she delivered the baby in the toilet. The girl told the police that the baby was stillborn.
The 30-year-old buried the baby in a plastic shopping bag in a wooded area close to his home. The girl later went to Lehigh Valley Hospital as she was still sick, and hospital staff contacted the police early Sunday morning.
Michael James Lisk told police that he had had sex with the 13-year-old "too many times" to count. Evidence uncovered after a search indicated that the sexual relationship had existed since the girl was 12.
He has been charged with rape of a child, sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and corruption of minors, in addition to concealing the death of a child and the abuse of a corpse.
The girl is still receiving medical treatment.
Some abortion-rights activists have argued that such cases show the wrong-headedness of parental consent laws, which they say can lead children to take matters into their own hands.
Pro-life activist Byan Kemper, however, pointed out that Live Action's Mona Lisa Project has repeatedly caught Planned Parenthood on tape covering up statutory rape.
"If the girl had gone to Planned Parenthood he would probably still be raping her, as I doubt they would have turned him in," he said.
Kemper also pointed out the irony that while many people will likely be horrified by the story, they would not have minded if the girl had had her baby killed in an abortion facility. Even if this was done in a so-called safe abortion clinic, said Kemper, it would not change the fact that a human person is dead. Abortion is NEVER safe for the baby who dies.
The insanity of it all.
Where are her freakin parents?
I think this is a repost with a differnt title:

*sigh*
Prayers to the girl and the baby.
Judgement to the rapist.
Would she go THROUGH a prosecution of her abuser WITHOUT letting her parents know about the rape?
No. Planned Parenthood is pro-rape and hides the evidence of sexual molestation of minors by adult males. They permit the adults to go on abusing victims without prosecution.
waiting for Obama to pay their mortgage.
I was wrong, it’s from LifeSiteNews and not Life News.
That has been shown many times.
When a 13 year old girl is pregnant it is extremely likely that a rape has happened. The possible exception being that another young teenager had sex with her.
I can just imagine some of those passionate discussions about economics, politics, science, etc. ...
I don’t think boyfriend is the right word. Rapist, maybe.
Typical Obama voters?
Poor child will have to live the rest of her life with the image of her self-aborted, stillborn baby in the toilet.
Good God, how far into the term was she?? Or am I just inferring because the Life Site correctly calls the lost soul a baby and not fetus, as more typical lib press stories would?
The horror that we witness here on earth, even if not eye-witness -- prayers for the innocent, justice meted out to the guilty.
It takes a village.[major S]
I find that hard to believe. I know that the organization is evil but I cannot fathom them not reporting a rape especially a 30 year old man raping a 12 year old girl.
It is (Un)Planned parenthood’s policy to not report staitory rape because it would violate the Dr./Patient privlidge of the mother. They believe it would also discourage girls who are “in love” with their older boyfriends from having abortions. Anything which could potentially cut down on the # of abortions in this country is opposed by (U)PP.
Yep, PP does it. If they reported the rape, then they'd be "violating" the woman's "privacy" rights.
They’ve already been caught on tape at numerous offices telling the girls what to say so that it won’t be reported to authorities.
Additionally, if they girls are “afraid to tell their parents” then there won’t be prosecution. Plain and simple. Are the girls supposed to wait until they are 18 and then persue charges hoping that evidence is not tainted and that the offender does not offend again and that the statute of limitations hasn’t expired?
Like to apply a little Charlie Dainels—Simple Man therapy...
