Pence: 'Everybody in America knew whose a-double-s to kick'
Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) on Sunday blasted President Barack Obama’s “slow” response to the BP oil disaster, saying the administration had poorly coordinated its initial response.
“He could’ve picked up the phone and called the CEO of BP sooner than 50 days [after the spill],” Pence said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “This is emblematic of the kind of detached leadership we’re seeing in this administration…I think by day two, everybody in America knew whose a-double-s to kick.”
Obama administration officials did not appear in the region until nearly 10 days after the oil rig explosion occurred off Louisiana’s coast, Pence complained.
Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) acknowledged the involvement of more than a dozen government agencies in the oil spill is a process that “can get clumsy sometimes.” But he defended the administration’s overall response, saying it was working to streamline the efforts and expressing anger at BP.
“I don’t know that the president is doing anything wrong,” Clyburn said. “The President’s style is something a lot of people felt very comfortable with during the campaign – they were looking for a steady hand…But when the time came for governing, people like to see a little more emotional involvement on the part of their leader.”

Yeah, by letting barriers languish in a Maine warehouse, preventing ships that could skim the oil not participate because they are not union, by funneling the terrorists in Gaza 400 million more dollars instead of spending that money to protect the environment.
And the hell does focusing anger at BP protect our states from damage?

I think this is a great campaign theme. The same federal government that has “managed” border security and the Gulf oil spill.....is the same government wants to control our healthcars.
