June 12) -- With her father away on military service in the Middle East, Chelsea Jusino was resigned to attending her high school graduation without him.
But when she donned her graduation gown and went to the ceremony at a baseball stadium in Clearwater, Fla., she got a surprise.
(Dad appeared on a video before the entire school with an inspirational message to his daughter and her graduating class. It was a school secret for six months that this would happen.)
...
"Chelsea, I know due to certain circumstances, I have not always been there for you and that I have missed many important dates in your life," the elder Jusino said, according to Tampa Bay Online. "I want you to know that I will always be there for you in your most hardest, most difficult, most lonely times. I will be there to pick you up when you fall. Wipe your knees and hands. Clean your feet. Wipe your tears. Give you a shoulder to cry. Give you a hug, with a kiss."

Aw!
Happy tears!
Nice post!
Truly a memory that she will keep forever...
No tissues needed. Isn’t this supposed to be happy?
It’s called tears of joy.
I was expecting Dad in person.
Talking about it with one of my comrades the day before the ground war kicked off he said "What if you die tomorrow?" I had never even thought about the possibility that she might receive flowers from the grave and what it might do to her.
I'm glad this guy's thing worked out.
You’ll be in my prayers.
It wasn’t the commission ... it was YOU that impressed them. You’re a wodnerful Dad! Taht was very thoughtful.
We wish you an early Happy Father’s Day!
Joyful tears!
I love seeing others Dads showing their love in the open.
Thanks for posting that! So sweet.
I’m a big tough guy.
Not good to see me with happy tears.
Fabulous! ...and yes, I cried!
Thanks for posting. Was looking at the video with tears in my eyes and a huge smile.
Something must be wrong with my computer. The tape ran—dragged—in fits and starts until I finally gave up! And I don’t have a resident 3 year old to tell me what’s wrong! I was really looking forward to seeing this message too.
The girls were thrilled because you were so romantic!! So sweet. And if your wife got flowers from the grave, she would have been swooningly happy, too.
before Jack Benny died he went to the florist and arranged for a rose be sent to his wife each day for the rest of her life.
I love to see big tough guys with happy tears. Empathy is an excellent quality of one’s character.
