Jest go to show you, the know it all’s don’t know it all, at all!!
The core of the earth is a power plant like the sun. It is heating rocks all the time creating more oil. God knows how we have a reactor earth core and a reactor sun.
I wish I knew how to use html tags, the whole article at the first link in comments
Gonna go order my great big honkin SUV first thing tomorrow morning !!
The cited article is from 1999. Anything newer about whats going on? Sounds to me like this one oil well is being replenished by a deeper source. Nothing too mysterious about that.
Russian scientists have promoted for years the theory that oil is “abiotic” ie) comes from geological phenomena, not “dead dinosaurs.”
Given that hydrocarbons are found on Saturn’s moons, and oil is found at levels much deeper than any organic material could ever go would support this.
Ok for all that may stare at this with a puzzled look
check out abiotic oil the Russian headen venture into disproving God by showing oil is an renevable inexaustible resource
However I don’t think any oil so far had not contained algea traces so no smoking gun yet on abiotic origin of oil
Plus this is not the only oil field that is being replenished
Just in closing a funthing would be converting methane onto diesel and running all until time where vodoo clean energy is to anpoint where I can replace this mythical algea fuel
Sorry fir typos etc hard to type win thumbs
partying words by Diesel
quote: “First thing oil industry created was an artificial shortage”
Didn’t a guy named Thomas Gold come up with an idea that oil and other hydrocarbons were generated by geological processes deep in the Earth’s crust, which would explain why old wells suddenly filled up again? Weren’t there people in Sweden drilling through the crust there looking for oil?
Anyone out there know this stuff?
And what happens when we suck all the oil out of the reactor core? We lose the magnetic field, compasses stop working, the earth is pummeled with mini asteroids!
AAAAAAH, we’re all gonna die!!!!
If you read the whole article, I think you might see that this is an volcano that has been cracked open by deep drilling in the Gulf, and the oil and gasses there are not going to “run out” any time soon.
The Perdido platform peak production will be 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day in 8000 feet of water

Interesting you mention asteroids... is loss of the magnetic field on earth something that attracts meteors? Just fmi
thank you
Except if the well is so deep and has caused fissures miles away to come up that you can not contain it outside a nuke set down in the core of the earth.
BUMP to read later while filling up for $2.519
It’s not a Wall Street Journal link?
