TV news is saying children injured - this story doesn't seem to match the TV perfectly.

Wasn’t there a small plane crash in to a school in AZ a couple days ago?

Did you know that south of the Equator, that the controls reverse on an airplane and when you pull back on the yoke the plane will dive? I wonder if this plane had the conversion kit.

Also you put the yoke over to the left to turn right and the prop spins the other direction ...

Yes, indeed - strange syncronicity.

The terrible noise of the explosion could be heard all across Sydney.

I had to double check where that was. I have to admit, when I think of Sydney, I think of Rose Bay, Edgecliff, The Rocks. Must have been awful.

Well the water thing I knew about. Prop engines turning the other direction does paint a disturbing picture that I never saw in all the war movies I watched as a kid. lol
To: stumptalker
Well actually planes built in England do just that. From the cockpit view American planes the prop turns clockwise, the English plane props turn CCW .....

Well that is interesting. I’ll have to watch for that.
When you think about it most engines could probably run
backwards if you had a way to reverse the firing sequence.
You might also have to revise the oil and fuel pumps too.

However, the use of a cat for an artificial horizon will work the same regardless. All you have to do is fly with one hand and toss the cat up in the air with the other hand. Watch which way the cat’s feet are pointing and roll the aircraft in that direction.

No, water does spins the opposite way when going down a drain.
