God Bless you, Governor Jindal.

It sounds like Governor Jindal is trying to rob Barry, Axelgrease and Ram Emanual of a “crisis opportunity” not to mention the photo ops Barry is going to lose.

You are correct about State vs Federal jurisdiction
and the hold up on Jindal’s part.

The other week in support of Jindal, Sarah Palin told
him, go on and do what you need to do and ask for forgivness later (re a state Gov. going into Federal jurisdiction)

“the idiot we have for a President is all bark and no bite”

Here’s a quote from Barry in the article that outlines his game plan. Apparently he is gathering “stories” so that he can snap into action and start with the fingerpointing:

“We’re gathering up facts, stories right now so that we have an absolutely clear understanding about how we can best present to BP the need to make sure that individuals and businesses are dealt with in a fair manner”

Jindal is doing what Sarah Palin advised him to do two weeks ago.

I also notice that his focus in entirely on getting BP to fork over money. Now, don’t get me wrong, BP really has a mess on their hands and needs to start dealing with the businesses that are being hurt. I just notice that he doesn’t talk much about what to do about the oil out there on the water heading for the beaches and wetlands. It’s just easier to “gather stories”.

This is a brilliant action.

Not only does it begin a process long overdue but it dares Obama to pull rank to rescind an obvious, necessary action making Obama look like an even bigger asshole than he has already shown himself to be.

I'd love to see Obama scramble to undo something Jindal has the obvious good sense and leadership to order be done.

Obama would never be forgiven for letting his gigantic ego override the common sense of a leader who took the right action while Nero self-flagellated .

Let Obama be the fool who plays power games while the birds and fish die in the Louisiana bayous and the obvious better man, Jindal, takes immediate and helpful action.

Oh, ye American suckers who voted this jackass, Obama, into the presidency!

Sounds like Ozero has already written off the entire coast.

I could probably count on one hand how many times I’ve seen true leadership while this mess has been going on, and this is most certainly one of them!

It sounds like most “entitlement mentalities.” Sit on your butt and gather info so you can sue, sue, sue.....Don’t get up and help yourself or anyone else. Just sit and whine.

Why are they waiting?

Because if the President orders the National Guard, then the Fed is responsible for expenses...to include pay. Otherwise, the state pays. Louisiana is a poor state.

But Jindal has taken the step, anyway. Hopefully, Congress will bail him out.

And once the LA National Guard gets this wall building exprience, perhaps they can go over and help Texas and Arizona build walls to stop the gush flowing across our borders.

Exactly what are we getting for our federal taxes? By refusing to act in what has now become a crisis of an oil spill, Obama undermines the legitimacy of the federal government. Power may now further cede from the center to the periphery.

Truth is, they were not awaiting BP, they were waiting for Obama...I had to look to the news source, that explained the discrepancy.

It would appear that perhaps Sarah Palin is the one that should be sitting in the White House !!

Methinks the only reason 0bama is refusing to help Louisiana is because Governor Jindal is a Republican.

How much you wanna bet that Obama says—at least twice—that `WE` have already taken action by building these walls to `protect our shores`, implying HE made this happen?
