BP Covers up it's missteps (sorry for the source)

Please ignore his opinions. The guest begins talking at about the 2 minute mark.

Sadly, this comports with much of the stories we are hearing about information suppression.

I think he has taken a big hit, but he is still going to use this to his own ends. It fits into his game plan. So the hit is absorbed, and he solidifies his grip at the same time.

When will we learn? Look, we’ve still got folks who can’t fathom why we shouldn’t back John McCain for re-election, so frankly I have no idea when we’ll learn.

Instead of uniting behind solid people, we spend our time bickering and calling each other names.

You have misread my remarks, perhaps you’ll go back and read.

That said:

THEY CAN’T PLUG THE HOLE.

Not today, not tomorrow, not two weeks from now. You’ll see.

Olberman is just trying to get the spotlight off obama...that's all this is.

BP's and obama's paths have crossed enough to almost say that it is their equal responsibility to straighten out this mess.

obama has done things worse than being negligent for the oil spill, but the spill is out there for everyone to see, and it's going to be hard to pull a "cover up" on this one.

THEY CAN’T PLUG THE HOLE.

Who's "they?"

If BP can't do it, then the government should.

If nobody can plug it then the government shouldn't have signed off on the process and even gave them a safety award. If the bureaucrats signed off on it, then they are ultimately responsible.

I WILL NOT join with leftists in destroying the oil industry.

It is only going to get worse, and they have no idea how to stop it, now that the casing has been cracked and there are multiple sources of oil leakage from the surrounding area. Plugging the pipe is no longer enough.

Evidently chemicals are being released into the air from this drill that are X 1000 of the safe numbers.

Oh God. You're one of those parts-per-billion freaks. Never mind. You're already lost to reason.

I’m not sure the whole can’t plug the hole this isn’t nothing but speculation as it is. If it were, I don’t know what the point of uniting with the left would be anyway.

Frankly it sounds like a good story to force the evacuation of the gulf coast for however long the government deems necessary.

I agree. I have advocated some people go to prison over this. The deaths and the damage require some high level of accountability here.

Agree that it will take up to sometime in Aug/Sep time frame to plug the hole. Until then we don’t know for sure if it can be done or not. For the sake of all concerned I hope it successful.

Frank, you couldn’t be more right. Of course, they are trying to shield Obama.

Sam...Let me rephrase this: This hole cannot be plugged. Neither by BP or the US Gov’t. Perhaps it can be managed somehow, but plugged is out of the question. Roll around a bit on the internet, viewing some science sites. It won’t take long for you to find out why. And no, I’m not some ppm lunatic or any such thing. But there are plenty of people who are already getting pretty sick over the fumes. In your aforementioned internet investigations, you’ll find out what they are getting sick from. It makes perfect sense that BP would forbid masks of any kind for the workers on site. That would expose them to even more liability. And I’m not an enemy of BP; our posture should be to keep them in business, so they can make things whole. Nothing would be worse than crushing them to the wall, IMO.

Quit being so naive.

The Progressive Fascist machine routinely uses this sort of scare propaganda to get people all freaked out and upset.

IF the “information is being suppressed” how do these paid activists for various “environmental groups” “know” these “facts”?

Simple, they make it up as they go along knowing tens of thousands of gullible people will simply take their baseless, unconfirmed accusations as “Fact”.

Hitler and his ilk created this propaganda tactics. It called the “Big Lie”. The practisioners of this tactics simply scream the lie over and over until enough people hear the lie that it becomes accepted as “fact” by most people

I can't forget Cass Sunstein and his ideas for controlling the population with lies, manipulation, planted conspiracy theories, and manufactured consent.

With all due respect, I gently suggest that it is you that is naive, and not me.

The only group on this planet that have anything to gain from minimizing this are the Obots. And lord knows, they have tried.

BP can always flip them off and file for bankruptcy.

It is Obama and his ilk, who have tried to make this seem like no big deal. They want to pretend that we don’t know that HIS people gave them the permission to drill so deep, while fighting off the safety regulations.Obama’s people are up to their everloving eyeballs in BP “favors.”

The only reason this little weasel has been forced to act like he cares about this is because he’s been shamed into doing so...by the left and the right.

And even still, he ignores the laws on the books .... this is HIS job. It is not BP’s job to clean this up. IT IS HIS JOB. The media ignores this fact, but a fact it is.

People are saying that the pressure was from 20,000 to 70,000 psi.

Some people are ignorant, some are stupid. The result is the same, bad information.

and let me repeat this:

THE GUSHER CANNOT BE PLUGGED.

Not by BP, nor by Obama, nor by Michelle’s oversized ass, nor by even Barney Frank.

It cannot be plugged.

The best we can hope for is that they figure out a way to manage it, somehow. And I’m not even overly hopeful about that.

I read it, and I stand by my words. You and I will have to agree to disagee, I’m afraid. No hard feeling on my end, hopefully none on yours.

While I agree and believe that there are times these people use propaganda for their own purposes, I also believe that “there are times these people use propaganda for their own purposes!”

We may be talking past each other, without understanding that we are in agreement.

If your point is, that Obama and his minions are going to try to use this for his own shit, I AGREE.

My point is, he doesn’t want the American people to know how completely bad it is, because the arrow goes to him.

I think this man is completely cynical, and trying to take us along:

“Yes, it’s kinda bad, but we’ll solve this with this whiz bang dandy cap & trade bill. Pay no attention to the reporters who are telling you it’s a tragedy. It’s bad, but we’ll get it under contol.”

I don’t want to make excuses for BP, but when the POS POTUS starts off with a “shoot first and ask questions later” posture, how do you expect them to act?
