Paris police ban pork street party in Muslim area

PARIS – French police have banned a street party whose organizers planned to serve alcoholic cocktails and pork sausages in a heavily Muslim neighborhood of Paris, authorities said in a statement Tuesday.

Police said the party, called "Sausage and Booze," could have been viewed as a provocation in the Goutte-d'Or neighborhood of northern Paris, where many Muslims pray on the streets because there are not enough mosques. Alcohol and pork are forbidden by Islam and the party had been slated for just after Friday's main Muslim weekly prayers.

Organizers said they were holding the party to protest Islam's encroachment on traditional French values in the neighborhood. Muslim groups had announced a counterparty serving halal, or religiously approved, food.

Police banned both events.

Maybe they could just drive a hot-dog laden roach-coach slowly through the neighborhood.

"I'm for people gathering, drinking and having a laugh," she told RTL radio. But she said it was right to ban this party because it would have been "extremely dangerous" given its ties to the far right, "and all that implies about the hatred behind it."

And when she and her daughter's are wearing burqas and are not allowed to leave their home without a man present, she'll realize that conservatives were "right".

Okay, so the Sausage and Booze fest is out.

Well can the French at least gather to mourn the passing of Jimmy Dean? And have some thing to wash it down?

France has laws requiring things be in French (including non-removable subtitles on DVDs).

The prohibition on this event is not counter to French law. It is counter to political correctness.

Meanwhile, muslim yutes will continue to riot in France and set fire to cars without rebuke.

Too bad the Frenchies don't reach out to a few Guamanians. Now, they know how to roast a pig...

Poor oppressed dears! Le Man always as a boot to their throat.

And I’m sure they only set cars on fire so they’ll have enough light by which to pray to the pedophile moongod.

“How about nude women?”

Not bad. But sausage and booze work for me too.

Let’s see...

Hot Italian sausage, grilled up and served with sauteed onions and peppers with a nice chianti, or...

Andouille (sp?) with some red beans and cold Abita Amber, or...

Real Kielbasa from Greenpoint with the sauerkraut, horseradish, dark bread and ice-cold shots of Polish vodka.

If you can’t get behind suasage and booze, there’s something seriesly wrong.

What? Simple, if you don't want pork sausages, then don't but them. This PC is going to have a backlash that will surprise even its proponents. Like a pressure relief valve on a hot water tank...at a certain pressure it will blow and blow big.

I'll have to view a map to see where Pork Street is located in that town! Party on, you free Parisians.

The government attempt, not just in France but worldwide, to keep the lid on the pressure cooker as islam quietly occupies foreign lands only guarantees that there will be a societal convulsion and bloodletting in the future the likes of which hasn't been seen in the modern age. It will make nazi roundups and executions look like a day in the park.
