dumb kids biggest worry when Clinton was in office was whether or not he would get a tickle me elmo doll for Christmas for crying out loud

I love the quote from the 23 year old about the good old days under Clinton. He would have been 13 when Clinton left office. Of course life was good for him, his mommy was still putting his breakfast cereal in his bowl for him. I bet his mommy is still putting his breakfast cereal in his bowl for him

When Clinton was in office, we were doing exceptionally well. Then Republicans got in office and we are where we are, said Daniel Lowery, 23 Uh, Danny? You were five years old when Clinton took office.
Your political analysis can be taken with a grain of salt.
It's proven time and time again that D voters are the dumbest, least informed segment of the electorate.

I’m thinking you have to give up on the intelligence of about 40% of Americans.

The Dems have spiked here and there, but that spike has already diminished. The LA times probably polled union workers.

The AP-GfK Poll involved landline and cell phone interviews with 1,044 randomly chosen adults and was conducted by GfK Roper Public Affairs & Corporate Communications from June 9 to 14. It has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.3 percentage points. Not "likely voters", not "registered voters", not even "US citizens".
"Adults".
These adults "want" Democrats to control Congress sooooo badly that most (it's an off-year election) won't even bother to vote in November.
This poll smells worse than the elephant compound at the zoo.

The good news for Democrats: By a slim margin (47% to 42%), people trust them more than Republicans to guide the economy. .. In addition, people want Democrats to win control of Congress, by a 46% to 39% margin. .. Even so, there's plenty in the poll to encourage Republicans
Say what?? Was this written by a third grader? The Democraps have a 7 point generic lead and the Republicans should be "encouraged" ?
A 7 point lead means there wont be much if any change in Congress and President EpicFail can continue along his merry way... I don't think so. This is one of the most blatant push polls Ive seen in recent years.

It doesn’t matter. We have to get close to 50 seats to regain power and that is going to be a challenge....can be done but with gerrymandering on both sides so intense, it will be a great day if this occurs, but it won’t be easy.
To: autumnraine
When Clinton was in office, we were doing exceptionally well. Then Republicans got in office and we are where we are, said Daniel Lowery, 23, a warehouse worker from Fostoria, Ohio, who wants Democrats to continue leading the House and Senate. Hey dumbshit, when Clinton took office, you were SIX. When he left office, you were 14. What the hell do you know?

That’s all fine and dandy but people don’t vote on control of Congress, they vote on their own members. And poll after poll show nearly every single House seat gained in 2006 as vulnerable and competitive this year, and a whole bunch more on top of that.

I was 18 when Clinton left office. I always say he made a conservative out of me.

Financially they were pretty good years if I say so myself. If you remember, they were for you too.
To: RockinRight
I am only old enough to remember the tail end of Reagan’s time. But I know my history too. This dim bulb obviously doesn’t.

This is the same newspaper that had Gray Davis winning against Arnold by 20 points the morning of the election. Lost by twenty.
