Barack Obama is scheduled to give yet another speech on the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico today at 12:15 p.m. EDT.

The Rose Garden speech comes after Obama spent a planned twenty minutes meeting with BP executives at the White House this morning.

This will be Obama's third speech in the past 25 hours on the oil spill. Message: "I'm with you."

CNN reports the Republican National Committee released a video today blasting Obama for his response to the oil spill, accusing him of being more interested in golfing and partying with Paul McCartney than doing his job on the oil spill.

Wow he spent a whole 20 minutes with the BP guys and read them the riot act of how they will give over all the company’s money to him personally to distribute of course minus expenses and carrying costs.
What a imbecilic jerk.
Unless his writers gave a list of questions to ask in advance I imagine he showed himself to be totally out of his element.

Maybe we’ll see some hints as to how/if the Gulf SLUSH FUND is going to be funded.

My prediction: the SLUSH FUND will be funded by BP. The quid pro quo, although not stated of course, will be that the U.S. doesn’t pursue large fines for gross negligence. And no prosecutions of upper level BP execs.

BP was the first oil company to come aboard Cap&Tax, they gave lots of $$$$$$$ to the nobama campaign, they want the carbon tax, they gave favors (housing) to rob emanual and who knows what else. This is confusing. It almost makes one be a conspiracy believer.
