When I first joined NewsReal, my beat was the George Soros Steno Pool otherwise known as Media Matters. My editor told me, however, that hed understand if I had to bail after a while. After all, the hateful, biased, mendacious atmosphere at that self-proclaimed media watchdog is highly toxic.
I toughed it out for a surprisingly long time. But yeah, a person can only take so much Eric Boehlert. (See here and here.)
If you agree, then youll love seeing Boehlert getting smacked down by actual journalist Matt Welch. Heres what happened:
Over at Media Matters, Boehlert wrote a post called, Why does the Los Angeles Times hate Obama? Now, its news to most sentient beings that the LAT hates the president, but lets play along.
Boehlert declares, Some conservatives suffer from such an acute case of Obama Derangement Syndrome that they cant even debate the issues of the day with out resorting to childish name-calling. These conservatives at the LAT have committed the egregious sin of daring to describe the president as ex-state senator and the nations top talker.
Oh. Uh, ok

I do not know who Eric Boehlert is but from the sound of things there is no reason to know him.
I was envisioning the guy getting his ass kicked by the president, who I’m sure thinks an open hand slap is an “ass kicking.”
President Urkle.
Media Matters is whining that the LA TImes was too harsh on Obama.
A journalist pointed out the literally hundreds of examples of the way the LAT was way more harsh to Bush, but Media Matters still called it Obama Derangement Syndrome.
Soros (maggot) owns this ridiculous sham website that critiques Fox for nothing real. Do they dispute the ownership of CCX? Of course not, but do they fret over Glenn Beck, they sure do.
Obama Derangement Syndrome = ODS = odious. Something going on with this.... but I can’t quite figure out what it is.
Media Smatters news.. Smatterer gets smacked.
