Harry Reid's chances: Angle's 50/39 lead is real; the supporting numbers point to a landslide
The Collins Report ^ | June 17, 2010 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

As late as eleven days before the Nevada primary the Washington Post desperately attempted to paint a smiley face on Harry Reid’s reelection possibilities. The liberal tabloid used a Mason-Dixon poll that compared Reid’s chances against the two Republicans THEY thought would were leading the race. The news was great for Harry. He was closer to either of them than he had been to that point! Over the next 11 days Sharron Angle, the Nevada TEA party’s candidate roared ahead and won going away.

Putting on a brave face Reid said Angle was to opponent he wanted all along. Oh really Harry?

As the “story” goes Democrats are breathing a sigh of relief at having drawn Angle even if Reid’s approval rate has slipped to 33%.

Angle has jumped to a 50/39 lead which surprises only Nevada Democrats.

Inspiring no one but Republicans Of course Reid will have lots more money but his recent $1 million whistle stop...

I have only donated to a candidate outside my state three times - Diane Irey when she was up against Murtha, Scott Brown to take the Kennedy seat, and Angle.

But she’s so EXTREME!
She’s Reid’s “ideal opponent” because her extreme rightwing views will turn off the “independents”...

The lead is far larger than that when the pollster tells those polled that the Conservative Tea Party backed candidate is Sharron.

Meanwhile, back on the liberal reservation, Politico is running a laughable article as to how Reid is actually in the catbird seat. The dems are no longer worried about Reid losing, we’re told. The dynamic and charismatic Harry Reid has it under control. Pay no attention to the polls, America. Angle might as well hang it up.

Note to Politico: The Toyko Rose schtick went out the day Al Gore invented the internet.

anything and everything.....

She needs to come out and say that on the record. “my opponent - Harry Reid and the DNC - will say...”

Since they’re close to Rasmussen’s polls, they seem to be at least somewhat legit.

There they go again....the GOP trying to steal ANOTHER election. sarc//

Democrats NEVER lose....an election loss is ALYWAYS:

1) Stolen
2) Bought by Evil Big Business
3) large turnout by racist America
4) unenlightened electorate who ‘don’t know any better’ that the Progressive movement serves their economic interest more fairly than exploitative conservationism(direct quote from a lefty)

I’ve seen that last one too -

conservatives are so stupid that they vote against their own best economic interests...

this comes from the assumption that wealth is distributed,
not created.
