BOTH OBAMA AND OSAMA HAVE
FRIENDS WHO WANTED TO BOMB FORT DIX
From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
March 6, 1970: "three members of the Weather Underground accidentally killed themselves in a Manhattan townhouse while attempting to build a powerful bomb they had intended to plant at a social dance in Fort Dix, New Jersey -- an event that was to be attended by U.S. Army soldiers. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plot been successfully executed."

"The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
The bomb was packed with nails to inflict maximum casualties upon detonation."

2007 Fort Dix attack plot
A group of six radical Islamist[1] men, allegedly plotting to stage an attack on the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey, United States, were arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on May 7, 2007. They were subsequently charged with planning an attack against U.S. soldiers. The alleged aim of the six men was said to be to "kill as many soldiers as possible".[2] Their trial began on October 20, 2008. [3]
Opening arguments were presented on October 20, 2008.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said the defendants were inspired by jihad saying "Their motive was to defend Islam. Their inspiration was Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
no, its not just you.....
Just one question: Since when does the military use an E-4 as a base spokesperson?
It appears to be over, but no idea yet if the suspect was a disgruntled employee, a despondent boyfriend and/or a man with Mohammad somewhere in his name.
Officials have lifted a lockdown that lasted a little more than two hours at a Naval air base in Lakehurst on Monday morning. The lockdown went into effect about 9:15 a.m. on the 42,000 acre Naval Air Systems Command base (NAVAIR) at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, however it's still unclear as to what put base officials on alert. No one was allowed to leave or enter the base during the lockdown. The Dix and McGuire portions of the base were not affected. The base is a tri-service military installation, combining Fort Dix, the McGuire Air Force Base, and the NAVAIR base, formerly known as the Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst. The NAVAIR Lakehurst base is the same site where the Hindenburg crashed in 1937. It currently employs about 3,500 people worldwide and is located about 75 miles south of New York City.

Lockdown has been lifted.
Are the Ft. Dix Six back for a little more jihad already?
Probably another UFO alert.
We had dirt bikes.
We used to be able to take our dirt bikes onto the Dix military reservation, at a point immediately southeast of McGuire's main airstrip, entering without any checkpoints from a public road, and then ride the terrain, on the Dix reservation, for miles east of there, nearly all the way to Lakehurst. The only warnings we got at that time were warning signs in and around an artillery practice zone. The main "occupied" area of Ft. Dix, itself, was a pretty open base with four public county roads passing through it - without checkpoints; two traversing the post going north and south and two going east and west.
Have not been through the area in years, since before 9-11, so I don't know what the access conditions there are today.
...heard this AM it was a “open gate” discovered that prompted the alert.
