Skip to comments.Sarah Palin tweets ‘Rahm, you lie’ after chief of staff’s comments on ABC

Sarah Palin called White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel a liar on Twitter yesterday, saying his comments on ABCs This Week make him shallow, narrow-minded, political and irresponsible.
The former governor of Alaska is apparently outraged over Emanuel telling ABCs Jake Tapper on Sunday that Republican Rep. Joe Bartons apology last week to BP was not a slip of the tongue, but a reflection of the philosophy of the Republican Party.
Thats not a political gaffe, those are prepared remarks, Emanuel said. That is a philosophy.
Emanuel added: They see the aggrieved party here as BP, not the fishermen and the communities down there affected.
Palin tweeted Sunday afternoon that, RahmEmanuel= as shallow/narrowminded/political/irresponsible as they come, to falsely claim Bartons BP comment is GOP philosophy Rahm,u lie.

This should be fun ... :-)
She’s kinda growing on me.
Glad she called him out.
W would have remained silent...
The list, ping
Sarah is putting E.F. Hutton to shame.
W was still under the illusion that there was still room to take steps back in the name of civility...
or, maybe more insidious, he’s in on the “elites’” plan to subjugate all of us.
Love that she quoted Joe Wilson.
Arrogant, lying, condescending, repetitive, shallow talking points.
Nothing more. He is the perfect little Hermann Goring.
Rahm is the furthest thing from the right on this earth, yet he knows the philosophy of the right.
Rahm Emmanuel lies in his sleep.
“I caught the 30 minuet uninterrupted PR spot featuring Rahm ‘Twinkle Toes’ Emanuel yesterday.
Arrogant, lying, condescending, repetitive, shallow talking points.”
What always gets me about him are his dead eyes. Totally creepy.
Her and I could make beautiful music together. (Kids too)
So far O seems to be a master at setting up unaccountable slush funds that only he controls. The BP fund looks like yet another one.
In the two months since the blowout began, O has done nothing except impede clean-up efforts. States and communities that have tried to launch their own clean-ups have been shut down repeatedly. Efforts to bring in crews and equipment have been rejected again and again. The only thing O is good at is threatening lawsuits, threatening prosecutions, and setting up slush funds.
Do you think there is any connection between his threats of criminal prosecution, and his demand of a slush fund under political control? It his M.O. The only thing he knows is threats, intimidation, and shake downs. Its what he has done his entire professional life. He does not know how to build things or fix things. He only knows how to demand that others build them or fix them. And cut himself in for a piece of the action on the back side.
And there will be no apologies forthcoming!
Putting BP aside for the moment, Republicans SHOULD be concerned as a matter of political philosophy whenever the Government bypasses established statutory procedures to punish corporations. BP royally screwed up. But it is not ok for Obama to circumvent the law to punish BP. When Obama DOES circumvent the law, it is OK for Republicans to apologize for his unlawful actions. It is in keeping with Obama’s penchant to apologize to the rest the world for all of American’s perceived oppression.
Nothing. It will be just like Joe Wilson calling little bammy a liar to his face. He will (was) be condemned loudly by all the butt smoochers and in very short order Mr. Barton will be proven absolutely correct.
What is really great about this is the communists that call themselves democrats and the RINOs NEVER learn from previous screw-ups of this exact nature and will once again wake up looking like the idiots they are.
He also was a fool for giving Zero so much credit for pulling off a "shakedown." Betcha BP got some goodies Rahm isn't talking about for it's 20 billion. We'll see in the coming days as the leaks come.
Keep punching Girl!
First, it was “Rosie the Riveter”, now it’s “Sara the Rivetting”....
Ooh, right in the mummy-daddy button!
I think that was just part of W’s ‘compassionate conservative’ profile. I don’t believe there was deviousness involved, just style.
When I first skimmed this I saw:
"Rahm Emmanuel lies with sheep."
No, no, no...
He's the perfect little Joseph Goebbels.
The resemblence between the two men, in more ways than one, is striking.
And Axelrod is Hitler's doppelganger as well.
She remains the leading voice of Conservatives.
Is there anyone who is unaware that Rahm is the official liar of the Democrat party?
I always wondered why it was that the Nazi higher-ups, especially Goebbels, looked more like Jews, than their Nordic ideal.
If she runs or not she is making herself a “Historical” figure who will surely be remembered just as she stands now. Indeed she grows on people...and for those who oppose her...it has been said she lives in their heads and torments there...I agree...few take her on after she nails them. Wonder why.
Baiting someone with a well known temper, as rumors fly that he’s either being let go or moving on of his own volition. This should be fun!
I said the same thing 100 times...
It begs the question, who is little bammy? (Yea, I will never learn, I just HAD to ask...)
Did Rep. Barton actually direct his apology to BP, or did he offer an apology, to whomever it may concern, for the thuggish conduct of the President?
It is a shakedown, an act for which the Office of President does not, IMO, confer legal authority, and very likely the proceeds will be apportioned in such ways as to benefit Obama’s political allies, just as previous shakedowns of taxpayers have been designed to benefit labor unions.
Kinda like his boss's Muslim faith....
Wow, these pictures are incredible! I never put this together before. Eerie!
Does this mean Sarah Palin agrees with Boehner et al that what Barton said was a crime? That Obama didn’t, in fact, shake BP down for $20B?
I happen to agree with what Barton said, and this bit of news suggests that Palin does not agree with Barton (and me) on this subject.
