at this time in our history, we need a sound fiscal conservative so his views on social issues is secondary to me.....

if we don't save our country, there will be no traditional marriage and family....

I have reservations with Schiff after having met him, asked him questions and listened to him several times. He is clearly a one issue person. He is fully versed on the economy but will not discuss any other issue unless questioned. He supports legalizing Marijuana. He is pro abortion in the first trimester.

His website claims he is against amnesty yet when questioned how would he handle illegal aliens he responded by stating the economy itself would force them out of the country and back into Mexico instead of reaffirming he opposes amnesty. Schiff is ignoring the fact Mexico's economy is far worse than the U.S. Moreover people are being murdered with increasing frequency by the drug cartels. No one in their right minds would want to return to Mexico given those conditions simply because of a downturn in the U.S. economy.

After meeting and listening to him I am not convinced he is the Conservative he proclaims to be or many people believe him to be.
