Theres a history of abusing the media and public opinion, too. Assange happens to be a pro at it. But you wont learn that in Philip Shenons interview with him for The Daily Beast. The two discuss the new Afghanistan carnage video Assange claims hell release, and how the US governments displeasure over the news has compelled Assange to take hiding overseas, just to be on the safe side:

While refusing again to say if [Bradley] Manning was a source for WikiLeaks, Assange said today that he is far more concerned about Mannings security than his own.
One of our alleged sources is apparently detained in Kuwait, and thats a serious situation, Assange said.

Someone (Not you, Diogenesis) needs to turn on their brain and clearly state the alleged “treason”. I recall that treason is aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war. Has the Constitutional definition changed?
Also: Treason is when an American citizen commits acts against America. Assange is a citizen of Australia, so, like Obama, the correct term is “Enemy Alien”.
