Don't mix up Broward county with Brevard county...we're Ohio "snow birds", and Brevard county is Cape Canaveral country, not south FLA or butterfly-ballot territory...that's why we go there, besides the weather! ;)

So sorry. I came away from the 2000 election thinking all Dems in FL were pretty brainless and the headline to this thread appeared to confirm this sentiment. That said, you’re quite correct I goofed in thinking Brevard County was one of those “hanging chad” counties. Sorry for the mix-up.
