Another HOMERUN by Dr. Sowell, the great! How I wish this man was 40 years younger and had ten kids just like him . . . but perhaps he has even more by the number of people he’s educated.

An extremely insightful and typically excellent editorial by a Master.

"If we are creating an environment where only political generals can survive, what will that mean for America's ability to win military victories without massive casualty rates? Or to win military victories at all?"
Or when the day comes where soldiers say to an enemy: "There is Washington and the criminals within. You cannot touch those outside, but feel free to destroy all within that city."

Dr Sowell is clean and articulate, ..You Forgot the .. "Negro Dialect part"!

I agree with Sowell.

Can they refrain from damaging the capitol building? I like it.
They can have the WH. I hear it’s got flies.

The finer point is that the liberals, like terrorists, hide behind the average law abiding person for protection. They work their evil and then depend on the courage of rough men who are protecting the greater whole.
But imagine, if for a time, the weasels (can't think of a better term) were exposed, and those suffering the actions of said weasels were given free reign to enact reprisal without the 'protection of law'. Would not (at least until a new crop of weasels emerges) society benefit?

George McClellan, the man Lincoln selected to lead the Union army in the early days of the war, once wrote that his boss was “nothing more than a well-meaning baboon” and considered the president his intellectual and moral inferior.
Despite his contempt for Lincoln, McClellan had no choice but to coexist with his commander in chief as the two plotted military strategy with nothing less than the future of a nation at stake.
War and its dogs should come first, for those who would engage. This day brings no shine for either he of the purple lips or for “I voted for him” Gen Stan ..
