Obama nominates a judge who “forgot” defending serial killer then as a judge stalled his execution
The Collins Report ^ | June 24, 2010 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

When it comes to disgraceful attacks on our liberty by Barack Obama it is becoming hard to separate fact from fiction. Nevertheless, here’s a new Obama stunt that defies explanation. Stories like this can’t be made up.

To fill an opening on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, Obama has nominated Robert N. Chatigny a man who defended vicious serial killer Michael Ross but later claimed he “forgot” having done so.

Tried to help vicious predator beat death penalty

Ross was so clearly guilty that he confessed to the raping and murdering of eight women, none older than twenty five years old. Ross so strongly reeked of guilt that in 1987 he was convicted in just eight six minutes and in only four hours the trial jury decided he should be executed.

The murders Ross committed was a well know horror in the mid 1980s throughout New York and Connecticut. The story captured the attention of everyone in the Criminal Justice Community. In 1992 when Chatigny was part of a team that was reviewing Ross’s case, and doubtlessly working to free him, he had to have read the shocking details of the eight rapes and murders Ross confessed to committing. His confessions are telling documents. Chatigny’s claim that he forgot his letter exchange with Ross is in no way credible.

Nevertheless in 1995, while a sitting U.S. District judge in Connecticut, Chatigny participated in a conference call in which he pushed Ross’ lawyers to try harder to delay the murderer’s execution. The lawyers involved report the Chatigny actually threatened them with “I’ll have you law license.”

When challenged … why he did not recuse himself in the Ross case Chatigny said he “forgot” having worked to free Ross!

…. Democrat controlled Judiciary Committee voted 11-7-1…

What do you expect from an idiotPOTUS who spent 20 years under the tutalge of a radical pastor and claims to have inherented no ill-effects?

What do you expect from an idiotPOTUS who spent his most of his time being around radicals, socialists, communists, and terrorists, and yet, claims he hardly knew them or blah, blah, blah?

This judge “forgot” about as much as our idiotPOTUS claims he has.........

In regards to Obama, my “you-just-can’t-make-this-stuff-up” file keeps getting longer and longer.

Just a reminder how R’s must have the majority, thus control of all the committees.

Remember in November

Absolutely! The media will try to lull us to sleep so that we lose our steam between now and then. The Dems will start spending money in key areas to temporarily boost the economy so that people will think everything is hunky-dory. We must maintain our energy.

Who the hell is this guy? This passage borders on unreadable.

You mean eighty-six?
