I’m more concerned about why the ACLU would help the Westboro Baptist Church. One, the Westboro Baptist Church is made up of nothing but Phelps’ family, who are all lawyers. Why do they need the ACLU to protect them? And why would the ACLU agree to protect them?

When they start their chanting & singing we used to rev the harleys. I love the idea of God Bless America. These people are total scum. The more I read about their lives the more I see them as a crazy cult. Then I get mad they get tax breaks for being a “church”. I have seen so many bikers want to stomp their butts but hold back. One day I hope an outlaw club rides in & does it. The PGR won’t & can’t do it. However someday some outlaw club member is going to lose a son,daughter or brother, etc & all h*ll will break loose. The WBC also says they are going to show up & don’t always so you never know if they will appear. I believe in freedom of speech but IMO this just goes too far. You should be allowed to bury your loved one in peace & not have the stress of the WBC hounding you.

This county sheriff should ignore that federal judge’s court order. That federal judge has no jurisdiction over a county sheriff in other than government matters, i.e. fighting foreign wars, printing money, and interstate transportation. Read the Tenth and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution. We’ve got to start standing up and the sheriff is the best guy to do it. Also Google Federal Government vs. Nye County Nevada.

...and on that note, if we wanted a second "Boston Tea Party" event, we would dress up as "undocumented" Mexican "immigrants," kill* the protesters, and (of course we'd all be at the pub) be aghast when we heard the story... so that we would demand that the government start enforcing the immigration laws.

*Killing might be unnecessary, but fewer eyewitnesses is a good thing in clandestine operations.

About fifteen years back I was having problems with thieves. One day while eating in town I told the Sheriff that I would blow out a knee with my shotgun next time. His reply was that I should shoot to kill because dead men can't sue. I have not had any thing missing since.

All it would take is a truck load of masked people get out a couple blocks away, walk up and wale on them and leave. Who they gonna sue? Just to say that justice sometimes comes from far beyond some legal definitions. Especially when The LAW Enforcement (Sheriff) is told not to uphold the law.

They ain’t no Baptists. No real Baptist I know would ever consider interfering with any funeral or sacred activity.
