Hopefully, a better week for Regan Smith and the Furniture Row 78 team. Last week, they had a broken right-front wheel after the first pit stop and then a broken trasmission toward the end of the race!

Jr “Too rough to run around the top really bad. It’s why I can’t see. (My head) like a ping pong ball between the headrests.”
LM asking if we need to put soft stuff on the headrest -Jr it ain’t gonna make it drive better putting stuff on headrest” (as bad as the car was running, worrying about the headrest at this point was stupid)
After the big one - (As we all held our breath) TJ “did ya make it” - Jr “YEP Heh” Jr “Did you see me go through it on the replay - (very proud of himself) as he should be! TJ says “we were in the right spot to get clipped and shot up (the track)”
“The only way I made it through that wreck, was being sideways!!”
Jr “It was like a surfer in the tube man. That was cool.”
Jr “I was thinking I was gonna get undressed a little early, and get in my street clothes. I guess not. Hehe”
During the red flag “The fire department is handing out water. That’s a little strange.” :)
LM: what’s wrong? Simple question Jr: I drove in the f’ing fence! (That one wins the stupid comment of the race LM) or is it the headrest comment?
LM “what was wrong before we drove in the fence?” Jr: you ain’t getting play by play by TJ? I got run into the wall!!!”
Jr: “I’m pissed. you can’t get on the bottom and do nothing. LM: we’re on the bottom again.
Jr: “I haven’t been able to do anything with this car all night long!”
Jr: “You can stay in line or go to bottom to make shit happen. go to bottom take some risks and we’ve been losing that all night”
