Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is tired of Joseph Paul Franklin, the white supremacist and serial killer who claimed responsibility for shooting Hustler publisher Larry Flynt, breathing his state's air.
Joseph Paul Franklin awaits his date with death.
Koster wants the Missouri Supreme Court to set an execution date for Franklin now that the U.S. Supreme Court has kicked out Clemons v. Crawford.
"Today's decision clears up any lingering ambiguities related to the constitutionality of Missouri's death penalty protocols," Koster said today in a statement. "Legal hurdles have held the imposition of justice in Missouri in abeyance for 12 months. With today's ruling, these hurdles have been set aside."
The man who claims he and paralyzed Larry Flynt is on death row in Missouri.
Franklin is on death row in Missouri for shooting and killing Gerald Gordon and injuring two others in the parking lot of a St. Louis-area synagogue after a bar mitzvah. Franklin also has copped to a litany of other shootings and killings, mostly racially motivated. He was convicted of killing two African-Americans in Utah and an interracial couple in Wisconsin. He also fire-bombed a synagogue in Tennessee.
Franklin also has claimed he's the one who shot and paralyzed Flynt on March 6, 1978. His motivation: Hustler
published an interracial photo spread. Franklin has never been.....

1978 — and the taxpayers have had to pay to keep this slime alive all these years. Seems like the more serious the crime, the longer you live....liberalism.
He’s got the hair down but the mustache needs work.
True story. Back in the late 70’s this freak was tracked and put into custody in the back yard of my best friends parents suburban NKy house. He had already killed a slew of people back then. Since then my friends parents have long passed to their reward. Why on earth is he still here?
Well, from the sounds of this report, he may soon be taking that long awaited one way walk.
I think it’s a bad precedent to execute someone for a shooting that didn’t actually kill the victim. Put that sort of loophole in the hands of this administration and you’ll soon have death camps for conservatives.
Fry him today.

Nobody is being executed for a failed murder, this guy succeeded in killing someone else but I have said for a long time that the penalty for murder and attempted murder should be the same. Why should someone get a lesser penalty simply because he is incompetent at murder?
Before you say I am crazy ponder this. The difference in penalty between first degree murder and negligent homicide is based solely on intent, if you shoot and kill someone in a hunting accident for instance because you didn’t follow safety rules you are not guilty of murder because you didn’t INTEND to kill anyone. Why does the law turn on intent in the one case but in the other case where the intent is the same, to commit murder, the law turns on results. Somehow that never seemed right to me.
Well damn! Here I thought I had missed hearing about someone snuffing weasel larry flyntt.
Liberal hypocrites.
He’s on death row in Missouri for murdering a man.
Not for shooting Flint in Georgia.
I’d like to strap RINO turned democrat traitor Chris Koster’s political future into the chair.
I actually remember this case. It happened as a "current event" when I was still in high school. The state of Utah wanted to try this as a basic capital one murder case.
But that was when "hate crime" law was just becoming trendy and the federalistas wanted to make an example of him.
So they took the case away from the state and tried him for a hate crime. The AG in Utah was furious because he wanted Franklin convicted and in front of a firing squad, but he had no choice but to relent to the power of the federalistas.
Long story short is that he gets convicted of the hate crime, serves jail time and gets out to continue his pattern in another state . . . and another.
Had the feds butted out, he would most likely be enriching the soil somewhere in Utah.
