"SCHWARZENEGGER FLEXES MUSCLE FOR MOSCOW, WHILE OBAMA IGNORES WARNINGS FROM RUSSIAN DISSIDENTS"

SNIPPET: "California governor, and former film superhero, Arnold Schwarzenegger has pledged to lead a trade mission to Russia and assist "in any way possible" Russia's drive to develop its own high tech "Silicon Valley." U.S. president Barack Obama has also promised his backing in facilitating the flow of U.S. technology to Russia.
The eager participation of Schwarzenegger and Obama in exporting U.S. technological capabilities came during Russian president Dmitry Medvedev's three day visit (June 22-24) to the United States. Medvedev was looking for technological assistance, and in return offered an increase in U.S. corporate profits and an attractive return for investors.
Medvedev's campaign for venture capital and high tech aid occurred as his "new" Russia is looking increasingly like the old Soviet Union. Stark warnings about the true intensions of the Moscow elite are coming from vocal opponents within Russia, but are ignored by many in positions of power and influence in the United States."

Dmitry Medvedev dining in San Francisco tonight
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is on a friendly visit to the Bay Area before flying across the country to meet with President Barack Obama, and he comes in peace. Which must be why he brought along the flagship of the Russian Navy’s Pacific Fleet, the nuclear-capable missile cruiser Varyag. Makes total sense.
Medvedev will be dining with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and former Secretary of State George Schultz Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, he’ll be visiting technology companies including Twitter, Apple, Google and Cisco Systems, in part to promote an “innovation center” modeled on Silicon Valley, in Skolkovo, near Moscow.
The visits by Medvedev and the Varyag and its crew comes ahead of votes in Russia’s Parliament and the United States Senate on the latest nuclear arms control treaty negotiated by Medvedev and Obama.
Rest assured, display of militaristic muscle aside, the crew of the Varyag come in peace. They’ll be joined by sailors on leave from the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force and the crew of the USS Bunker Hill this week.
Yes, that’s right, all kinds of sailors to choose from on the streets of San Francisco this week, boys and girls!

Maybe Arnold, Medvedev, and our pretender can all tweet together on all the most important issues of our time.
In their ignorance it seems our so called ‘leaders’ are repowering the Soviet Union.
OPINION: I don’t believe any of the twitterers are ignorant.
I believe they all know what they are doing.
Clinton gives MIRV technology to China.
Now it’s Zer0’s turn to give something away.
President Obama is giving Russia “START” (the new version).
yea... this’ll help the US tech sector... not
wth is wrong with people? IT is one of our big advantages on the battlefield
not to mention, our tech sector has been pummeled thanks to h1b
Wow! Imagine! Using “muscle” as a metaphor in a headline about Schwarzenegger! Really, really clever!
I guess Putin does need help in reestablishing the Soviet Union, the demise of which he considers the great geopolitical tragedy of the 20th Century. And he’s already off to a good start, palling around with Chavez and Ahmadinejad, and offering weapons and nuclear technology for sale.

...welllll, this is part of a long tradition that dates back to WWII when the socialists/communists in the FDR admin were shipping materials and scientific breakthroughs to Moscow as fast as they could... an interesting book written by the commander of our Alaskan base who saw all the shipments come through his area was a testimony to how much FDR wanted the US to become just like the Soviet Union!!
Life imitates art.
