Al Gore and the Media Protection Racket
The American Spectator ^ | 6-29-10 | Jeffrey Lord

The Al Gore police report is disturbing.

To be specific, it's 67 pages of the quite graphically disturbing, as posted here by Red State.

You are reading the news of this police report -- originally filed in October of 2006 -- only because the National Enquirer scooped the story. In June of 2010. You did not read it in the Portland Tribune, which has been on this story since 2007 and failed to tell its readers until the Enquirer broke the story. The Tribune's explanation for this is to be found here.

Then there's the interesting news that Kathleen Parker, she the "conservative" columnist who has gained renown in liberal quarters for Palin-bashing, has been selected by CNN to partner (so-to-speak) on a new political chat show with Client Number 9 for a rousing -- according to press reports -- $700,000. Client Number 9, of course, would be former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, who was identified as such by the investigating feds curious about the ex-crime busting state attorney general's passion for expensive prostitutes. Said passions led to Mr. Spitzer's resignation as governor.

Next up is the recent news that the Washington Post's David Weigel ...

You can’t expect them to cover a scandal involving one of their chosen winners. They’re too busy investigating the Real Truth behind Trig’s Birth to bother with sleaze from a Nobel Prize winner.

I'm sure they'd do the same thing for Dick Cheney.

(Yes, I'm being sarcastic.)

Interesting!

Gov Sanford takes off for a visit to his MISTRESS and the msm starts foaming at the mouth.

A big FAT Dummie commits S Assault and the msm starts digging a trench to bury the headline. Disgusting.

algore knew his crimes and pedigree, therefore, it was necessary to hustle the AGW scam and make lots of moolah to be able to payoff the inevitable women coming forward and the inevitable lawsuits due to his scamming. As long as Mr. Woody was bringing home the big bucks, Tipsy agreed to remain silent but, in the end, it was too much of a load to bear, even for her. The truth ALWAYS comes out in the end.

There is no parallel between Sanford and Gore. Gore sickens me, but good grief, if the same accusations were made against Marco Rubio (or whoever you think is finally the kind of politician the Pubbies need) you’d want a little more proof before condemning the guy.

"There was not a single memorable line, not a single new political idea, not a single proffered solution beyond the cliché."

Here it is folks: the basic ideology of the Left. It is like any other marketable product - has to be NEW!

If it's not new, it is old fashioned, it is passé, it is not worthy! They must have the Constitution in mind.

I’ll bet he likes young boys as well as massage therapists. Gore just looks like a “switch hitter!” Besides he is a politician, which in and of itself raises a presumption of personal foulness.
