It’s 3AM, do you know where your Johnny is?
How long before the store owner gets charged for sleeping in his shop?
We're here for the robbery!
Good shooting, Citizen. Civilization thanks you. P.S. Get to the range though for practice.

Akron shop owner shoots intruder
An Akron convenience store owner aroused early Friday morning by intruders opened fire striking one of the men.
Johnny Ray Rollyson, 19, is being treated at Akron General Medical Center for what police say is a severe injury to his left arm. Rollyson is charged with burglary.
He was currently free on bond while awaiting trial on an unrelated burglary case.
According to police, the owner of the Pioneer Market convenience store at 308 Pioneer St. in the city's Goodyear Heights neighborhood, was asleep inside his business at about 3 a.m. when he was awakened by knocks and noises at the back door.
The owner then heard someone forcing open a rear door and grabbed his shotgun, firing a single shot, police said. A short time later, police received a call from the hospital regarding a gunshot wound victim.
A second suspect has not been identified. The burglary and shooting remain under investigation.
He did knock first though.

True. They can't accuse him of not being polite.
Good for the owner!
There was another store shooting on Sunday in Elyria when a idiot tried to rob a drive thru and was shot by the female owner....
Fighting back does work!
From the comments;
“For everyone who has, or plans to comment on this story...a few things need to be thought of before you do so. Remember that Johnny has a mother and father that love him, and 4 brothers and a lil sister that love him. He is an uncle, a cousin, a friend, and a person that holds a special place in the hearts of those who know him. He will be missed by many when he has to serve out his punishment for what he did. The March burglary that the paper points out only occurred because his grandmother had been the victim of a home invasion in which her purse was stolen and he was simply attempting to get his grandmothers property back, He followed the man that stole the purse and followed him into his home, he did not burglarize anyone that day...hence the reason it has gone to trial. Anyone with a brain in their head can look at the photo of the back door of that store and know that the owner inside heard what someone coming. He waited inside until the door was pried open...I’m sure it took a few minutes, and he waited for a good shot. He had plenty of time to call police when the noise of the door getting pried open began. His story about being woken up and in a panic is nothing but a line to keep himself out of trouble....it is ok to shoot someone that is invading your property, I understand that, but a decent human being would do everything else first. Had the owner yelled that he was inside with a gun this could have been avoided...even a shot into the air would have been sufficient. I wish Johnny all the luck in the world...I know he will get thru this and be a better person because of all of it. Its just sad that people who don’t know all the facts throw words around that are better left undsaid. You can’t believe everything you read people...there are 2 sides to every story.”
