Why can't we demand Obama's resignation?
June 30, 2010 | 13Sisters76

Please forgive the vanity post- I know you all hate them. But I am driven to ask this question- WHy cannot the people demand the resignation of this totallly incompetent man? And not just him- ALL his appointees and czars, AND his SC appointees, as well.

In 1973, the media, backed by a handful of leftist activists, drove Nixon from office- who had been elected in a landslide that the demonRATs can only dream of. The majority of the people did not want this to happen, but it happened anyway. Now it is the PEOPLE who want this man and his minions gone, but WE can't do what THEY did? I know, I know- there are petitions out there and I have signed a few. But I am talking a GROUNDSWELL- I'm talking a major concentrated effort by the people. Someone MUST know how to start this. If the lefties can do it, then certainly those with a brain can.

Isn't it time? Can't we DO this? This is OUR country and those with traitorous, anti-Constitutional plans can't stop us if this is what we demand. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm beginning to think we are running out of time.

The military is placed under civilian authority and that is original Constitutional law. It would be unwise to ever change that.

Oh, we can demand it. He just has no obligation to do or say anything about it other than “**** you. Next question?”

You seem to have missed this section entirely; our Constitution, in use for over two hundred years - should not be so lightly abandoned because of “light and transient causes”. 0bama is going to be a sad footnote in American history; what you propose would be the END of America. Like having a head cold, and the cure you proscribe is a .357 hollow point to the skull. The “cure” you propose is far worse than the disease.

From the Declaration.....

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Yeah- Ole’ Hillary was in on Nixon’s resignation. Apparently all she learned from it was how to get AWAY with it.

We might get somewhere if we can get Issa as the head of the House Ethics Committee and can convince him that Pelosi needs to be prosecuted for perjury - since she signed an oath that Obama is Constitutionally eligible when the facts of his birth (including parentage and birth place) can only be determined by an administrative or judicial person or body when his amended BC is presented as evidence, and the BC has never been presented as evidence.

If Issa is willing to open this can of worms then Pelosi, Obama, and everybody who perpetrated this fraud may see their house of cards fall.

So we’ve got 2 big jobs: Get republicans elected to the House, and convince Issa and as many others as possible that we will NOT tolerate this lawlessness and will not stop pressing until this lawlessness has been pulled out by the roots.

No..he has to be tried by the House and Convicted and Impeached by the
Senate.

The danger I see is that Zero being a certifiable Narcissist would order the military against the Congress. There is the big question, would they follow his orders?

You are free to demand Obama’s resignation, but you aren’t gonna get it until a million + patriots surround the White House & demand he leave.

***********************************

If they operated in the open like that they would be attacked as happened to the Bonus Army in 1932.

You can demand all you want. The right to petition for cause is as old as out country.

That said, he is just a free to say, “thank you, no.”

"Beacuse the political “leaders” on our side have balls the size of an electron in the element Cesium."

The s-shell electrons of cesium may be offended by the insulting implication of their size. They would recommend the comparison by made with bottom or strange quarks, or perhaps one of the neutrinos.

My suggestion is the replacement of the Treason Media with one which tells some of the truth some of the time. Until then there is little chance of any important truths filtering down to the voters.

Then we have this problem: most people want to be spoon fed anything which has any intellectual weight. They will not research or think for themselves preferring the “conventional wisdom” about ninety five percent of the time.

I mean take the average man and ask him what he thinks about ANY subject. Unless you happen upon a specialty of his all you will get will be about two minutes of shallow chitchat and the sinking awareness that he is ignorant of everything important. Voters know NO history, NO science, NO ability to follow a complex argument, NO ability to coherently express themselves. How many have read a book of any significance in the last year? Or ever when not required to?

We must take over all the institutions which the Left has seized: education, media, government, religion, judiciary, foundations. Stop buying newspapers, stop attending leftist crap movies, stop watching leftist crap tv shows.

“Demand” resignation is beyond ridiculous until all those things happen. Wave a magic wand and expect as much effect.

you will see riots like this country has never seen.

You're absolutely right. It would be catastrophic.

Nearly half the likely voters still support him. That’s why we can’t demand his resignation.

Can we demand that Obama take them with him?

There is a HUGE difference now, though. In 73 we didn’t have the Internet, we didn’t have talk radio and we didn’t have Fox News. Don’t you see more and more people getting involved now? Knowing more? I went to the march in DC last year and was amazed- no, BLOWN AWAY- by what I saw there. We conservatives aren’t “alone” anymore. And we have a voice. We didn’t then and I remember it only too well.

They will be so large that local police, and possibly even the National Guard of the various states would not be able to control them. They would burn, loot, and destroy to such a degree that people would cower in their homes.

What then?

Grapeshot over open sights.

If we get the requisite number of seats in November we can push for almost anything.

However, it won’t happen. For so many reasons known and unknown.

Just gonna have to ride this turd out and be done with him in 2012.

Now, if by November the economy is tanking further, he can’t put on a dive suit and plug the damn or continues to act Marie Antoinnette, then his own side will call for his stepping aside.

Yeah we get Joe but he is excellent on international issues and could repair our standing there while being completely Lame Ducked domestically.

The gaffes and laughs would be worth it. Barry can’t tell a joke or take one and is sycophant suckup who pretends to have a firm grasp of how to solve problem and an intellect lower than a ditch diggers boots.

Joe on the other hand would get stuff done and can deliver a punch line as well as a punch. A man at least compared to Barry who possesses so many effeminate qualities or shall I say characteristics as well as effected mannerisms.

Joe is a guy I could easily imagine having drinks with, playing an real American sport and listening to his jokes.

Barry is about as bland as uncooked tofu.

Joe on the o

I have little patience with foolishness particularly foolishness from those who should know better.

Every word in the post which upset you is unfortunately true.
