(CNN) -- Police in Portland, Oregon, say they have reopened their investigation into a massage therapist's allegation that former Vice President Al Gore had "unwanted sexual contact" with her in 2006, a police spokeswoman said Wednesday.
"The Portland Police Bureau has made the decision to reopen the case regarding the allegations brought forward against Mr. Al Gore," Detective Mary Wheat said in a statement issued Wednesday afternoon. "Consistent with our policy regarding open investigations, the Police Bureau will not be commenting on any additional specifics regarding this case at this time."

I'm not familiar with Oregon, but the other states that I am familiar with have 3-4 years for sexual assault as the statute of limitations. I imagine OR has something similar.
More than 4 years probably. This can’t be good news for Al, even on the best case scenario
I would add that since algore isn’t a resident of OR, and therefor is not in the jurisdiction, they probably add 2-3 years because of it. Some states don’t even run the clock if you’re not in it, but that rare.

How many more women will come out? He was way too comfortable with his actions for this to be the first time he tried to force himself on one.
Any one else and he would be locked up and have a sex predator level number attached to him for life.
I don’t know how many more women would come out, but the way this woman is being treated by the media, I am not sure that anyone else would want to go through it. If I recall correctly, she was afraid that a complaint would impact her business, and it looks as though it has. Not to mention just living with the notoriety.
