Oh, what a night, but the feelin’ ain’t right … at least not in Minnesota. Reason TV picks its Nanny of the Month, and this time the culprit is in my back yard. James Kirkpatrick, the Commissioner of Human Rights in Minnesota, declared that Ladies Nights promotions discriminate against men and are therefore illegal in the state. So much for sophisticated mamas at the nightclubs:

In Texas, you can go to the “card” stores and get the same prescription prices without the card.

In the sane days of old, discriminating used to be praised, as in: discriminating taste.

How long before “seniors” discounts are declared discriminatory?

Someone doesn’t like a discount or a two-fer, so what’s wrong with this picture. I could guess these same Bitchaucrats also believe large club card stores discriminate against none member citizens.”

Yup- This will result in a direct lawsuit against Sam’s Club....

In California many years ago, there was a lawsuit over the cost of cleaning WOMEN’S blouses vs MEN’s shirts. Women paid as much as 3 times what men paid because of the pressing.

The cleaners said that it took much longer to press a woman’s blouse because of the details that were different on each one, & time was money.

Lawsuit went forward.
Judge said costs had to be the same.

Soooo- the cleaners RAISED all the prices UP to the prices of the women’s tops.....& now the men get to pay the higher price all over the state.

Sometimes I think a sea turtle could do a better job in Sacramento legislature.

Meanwhile—having ladies nights in bars all over the country is a traditional thing.

Lots of the guys know they can go meet some new women on the half-price booze.

As long & cold as the Minnesota winters are, this could really backfire.

James Kirkpatrick is too stupid the understand that Ladies Night is for the benefit of men. He's so intent on finding even the slightest injustice that he ends up creating them where they don't exist. How does Mr. Kirkpatrick feel about white men being discriminated against by affirmative action? Bet it was used to give him his job.

Are you serious? Where the hell did you go? You must have gotten a bad sample. The women are one of main reasons I keep coming back here every time I try to move away...

Of course, the winters are the other reason, so clearly I don’t think like a normal person.
