Militia patrolling Southern Arizona border
KOLD- TV ^ | 7/3/2010 | Mark Stine

Tombstone, AZ (KOLD) - The Cochise County Militia is out patrolling the Southern Arizona desert this holiday weekend.

"Some people say the border is just too big, there's nothing we can do about it. That's wrong, that's crazy, we have to do something about it," Tom Fellows said.

Doing something is why these everyday citizens are standing in the desert this Fourth of July weekend.

Fellows explained, "I believe border security has been overlooked for too long."

“If you really knew what was going on at the border, you’d be loading up and getting yourself down there. When 80 miles of AZ land is off limits to U.S. Citizens from the border on up because of drug cartels and smugglers, you got a problem. If you really want to help out, contact the Arizona Militia at arizonamilitia.com

Just so you know, I was told to expect to get shot at. It’s just how it is down there. Of course you’ll never hear about it on the Lame Stream Media.”

Thanks for all that you’re doing! Be safe and best wishes.

Do militias stay in contact with other militias or patriotic organizations to allow this kind of flow of talent and concern?

Yes, many do, particularly for activities such as these.

.....Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, acknowledge they are outgunned by the Mexicans. They are already surrounded because they have the Mexican cartel guys in front of them AND behind them—Mexican drug cartels use lookout points in Arizona.........

Then WHY did he make an endorsement ad with McCain. Liked Babeu, before that. He really does have a tough job, could not stand to see him walking the border with McCain.

Help! Where is Geronimo when we need him? Where is Cochise? Help! Where is the Chiricahua Apache Nation? Help!

They're on the Rez, hiding from the Rarámuri and the Mexicans.

““Help! Where is Geronimo when we need him? Where is Cochise? Help! Where is the Chiricahua Apache Nation? Help!”

Victims of our friendly Federal Government. First they came for the Indians...”

Too true! First..we ARE the current indigenous tribe!

My Cherokee ancestors purchased land in Texas in the early 1800’s and formed a community called Mt. Tabor. They also got Mexico’s blessing, because NO Mexican wanted anything to do with that geography at the time. But as soon as they established prosperous plantations, nice homes, etc, they were raided constantly by outlaw Mexicans.

Mexico is and has largely for centuries consisted of the ‘Something for Nothing tribe’!

“So, I guess the answer is to throw up our hands and turn Arizona over to Mexican control? You sound a lot like Obama with his ‘the border can’t be controlled’ rhetoric. “

BTT! Either we fight this war, or we lose!

Absolutely! Only, some on this forum don't seem to have the stomach for it.

It is often said the drug dealers get their guns from American gun shops.

Do these look like guns sold in gun shops?

Where is the Chiricahua Apache Nation? Help!

Actually, I've been thinking that. The Shadow Wolves have been doing such a great job with the border of their reservation, why not give them back the whole border? Or give back part of the border region to the Apache or the other tribes from that area?

(My native-american history is a bit sketchy, my apologies if the wording of this offends anyone. But what about the idea itself?)

IMHO many of the Mexicans with power and wealth are of Spanish decent not native Indians. Now that puts them in the same boat as us but they want to, with the help of our liberals, make us out as the bad guy. The Conquistadors arrived in Mexico earlier than we arrived in the north. This brings up the question of why we have been successful and they haven’t...could it be the same problem Spain has had in Europe? Freedom is a good incentive, being a conqueror and overlord doesn’t work out so well. The old Zoro TV series was pretty accurate for fiction.
