Wonderful! He is really inspiring. And 10 minutes of tremendous, heart-felt extemporaneous speech about the greatness of America and freedom — all without a teleprompter. Conservatives have a core set of foundational beliefs that does not require weaving a web of lies — hence they can speak those beliefs extemporaneously. They don’t need a teleprompter to weave their web of deceit and tell them what they can and cannot say to each of their special interest constituency groups.

I’ve seen one of his speeches, and saw him interviewed by Greg Gutfeld on Fox News RedEye. Col. West is exactly the sort of patriotic American we need to be electing to congress. I hope he is not running in a predominantly blue district.
West would probably be a very good president, but Obama has tarnished more than the Democratic party. He has the crapous version of the Midas touch.

I’m not so sure. I think that the opposite is happening and there is a surge of support for black conservatives.
This is the case for West, for Scott in SC, and even Herman Cain (my favorite) has a support base that is growing by leaps and bounds.
Herman Cain ran for GA Senate in 2004 (I think it was) and lost, but one of the reasons given for his loss was that he was “too conservative”. HA! Not anymore, at every tea party and event he speaks at, the crowd chants “Run, Herman, Run!”
I for one would love it if our first truly black president (not half/half) would be a conservative man like Herman Cain. Not only would he do an amazing job, because he is a great American, business executive, intelligent, has common sense, and much more, but liberal heads would just explode!

Looks like he has what it takes: intelligence, charisma, sense of humor, good looks, a real man's man. His message is spot on - he gets it! And being in the military means he understands discipline. Definitely someone to watch.

No, I’m not serious, and I know it wouldn’t work (like the incumbents are really on our side). I just love the thought of the stress that would cause those who live to play the race card.
I've heard him on talk radio a few times, and I think he's great. (That was an effective indicator for RWR, anyway!) I think that Herman needs to get a lot more exposure to be effective, however. Mayor of Atlanta?

You’re probably referring to West’s skin color. I’m a honky, but I cannot think of any honky that I would rather vote for right now over Lt. Col. West as POTUS. How I wished he could’ve been in McPain’s place in 2008.
