WASHINGTON (AP) - Calling the Declaration of Independence more than words on an aging parchment, President Barack Obama marked the Fourth of July on Sunday by urging Americans to live the principles that founded the nation as well as celebrate them. "This is the day when we celebrate the very essence of America and the spirit that has defined us as a people and as a nation for more than two centuries," Obama told guests at a South Lawn barbecue honoring service members and their families.
"We celebrate the principles that are timeless, tenets first declared by men of property and wealth but which gave rise to what Lincoln called a new birth of freedom in America—civil rights and voting rights, workers' rights and women's rights, and the rights of every American," he said. "And on this day that is uniquely American we are reminded that our Declaration, our example, made us a beacon to the world."

99% of citizens at the time of the Declaration owned their own homes. They were small, poor independent workers, mostly farmers and craftsmen. They were not wealthy. Obama is a petulent liar and fraud to say otherwise.
How dare the President mock my ancestors with his disgusting lies. I am personally deeply offended by his outrageous distortions, lies and vulgar characterizations. His impeachment is a vital national necessity.

It infuriates me that he picks these, particularly on Independence Day: “civil rights, and voting rights - worker’s rights and women’s rights.”
The Founders put their lives on the line for all Americans to enjoy the rights to worship as they pleased, to assemble, to be free from illegal searches, to not be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law, to own weapons and defend themselves, to trial by a jury of one’s peers, to speak freely, to petition the government for redress of grievances and the right to not be put in double jeopardy.
Instead this scumbag extols the rights of grievance groups.

Obama is an enemy of the idea of America because what he fails to understand is MAN does not give these "RIGHTS," The CREATOR does. Notice all those rights were declared by gov't but the most important rights of all he doesn't even mention and that is what AMERICA is founded on! Inalienable!
