Turnabout would be a better response than this lawsuit. We should all be able to go and get old websites to catch flip floppers.
I’m not on Sharron’s side on this one, much as I agree with what she’s trying to do. You start going after web history, that no one can save or publish the cached versions, and the entire web goes into the 1984 memory hole. Be careful here.
I’m looking at it and can’t see why Reid thinks this will hurt her.
She should run an ad thanking Reid for spending money
and helping publicize the record of her accomplishments
and her stance on the issues.

If someone will actually be honest and TELL US EXACTLY LIKE IT IS, then we can make truly informed decisions.
The problem with POLITICIANS is that they hedge their bets and word spin until what they say can mean just about ANYTHING to anyone, and there is no way to really know what they think or what to expect, much less what we can hold them to!!!
And that is why so many Americans hate POLITICIANS.
And the only way to FIX it is to actually ELECT people who will boldly SAY WHAT THEY MEAN AND MEAN WHAT THEY SAY.
Yeah. It doesn’t really work like that. First, they have the media on their side. So you’ll give them the opportunity to turn the blame on us. The “escorts” will be treated as the violators.
You can’t go thug on thug. You have to send lawyers, or some kind of guys in suits. But the problem even then is, no matter how good your organization, sometimes the poll watchers will get run off before your team even has time to get to the polling station.
For example, one of the witnesses testifying in the New Black Panthers Party case, noted that even before that particular event, there had already been poll watchers run out of other precincts that day.
THen might I humbly suggest that, in order to WIN the battle for our nation we must CHANGE the rules? It’s time we stop accepting the status quo and start thinnking outside the box!
We now have the ALTERNATIVE MEDIA (FoxNews, the Internet, Blogs, Webcams, Cellphones, etc.) so, it’s not THAT easy for the CNN’s, MSNBC’s and the big three to LIE anymore without getting cause in it. They have REAL competition. We NOW have MILLIONS of motivated and ANGRY Tea Partiers, 9/12er’s and an awful lot of angry patriots, that include some pretty tough dudes, from football players to bikers to special forces vets who’d GLADLY be willing to form an “ESCORT” line for little old ladies and kind old gentlemen to get to the polls and vote.
I’m thinking the Black Panthers might think twice before trying to crack a baton over the head of a 6’4” bandana wearing, leather clad, gotee sporting Hog driver with a sweet old grandma by the arm taking her to her polling place. And what about the Vet who shows up in his old BDU’s, and escorts that older gentleman past the three big Black Panthers with the clubs in their hands while the network AND webcams arfe rolling? Do they try to take out the Iraq war Vet and the old man he’s showing in??
The rules have to change. And we have to change them. We have to turn it around on these manipulationist jack asses who always put US in the position of being the “bad guys.” We MUST put that shoe on the OTHER foot this time. If we do, we win. If we don’t, THEY win. That simple.

No one said ANYTHING about ATTACKING Black Panthers. Simply ESCORTING and PROTECTING innocent, good folks into the polls — UNARMED — is NOT a crime. And DEFENDING yourself OR those helpless people is not a THUGERY either. and it CANNOT be misportrayed to EVERYONE EVERYWHERE if you HAVE Alternative Media (as we do — for now)to set the record straight.
If we simply ACCEPT that we must meekly take THEIR force and violence and NEVER defend ourselves, and THEIR version of the story as the “PUBLIC” reality, then we do a DISSERVICE to our cause, to HISTORY, and we SHAME our FOUNDERS, who would NEVER have settled for such a state of affairs!
