The tactics used on Tom Delay and Sarah Palin should be actionable. It seriously bothers me that people can get away with lofting these types of politically motivated charges.

The current evil regime is dripping with hate (Democrats) based on fear. The state-controlled main stream media is on its way out owing to decreasing numbers of consumers tired of the same old stuff -- name-calling, unsupported assertions, and predictable spin. IMO, eventually the MSM will be taken over and subsidized by the regime's propaganda machine, so they are not going away.

Sarah Palin is everything the left hates. She is white, upper middle class, successful, beautiful and smart. She is conservative, self-made, and did I say smart? She is a good campaigner, relates to the people, communicates well, and she doesn’t need a teleprompter to tell her what she should think. She is from the people, not Ivy League, not indoctrinated with all the BS that qualifies as intellectual in this convoluted world. She has moral and ethical standards that surpass anything a liberal could hope to have. Sarah is an American.
Of course not. The reason this strategy worked so well in Alaska was because Alaska law permitted these types of nuisance lawsuits to be prosecuted.
