John DeHoop loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles: He rode one, had a tattoo of one and outfitted the family room of his White Bear Lake home with Harley memorabilia.
Before he died of cancer at age 55 in May, DeHoop told his wife, Kathy, he wanted a motorcycle hearse at his funeral. During their rides along the St. Croix River, the couple had seen a Harley hearse parked outside Afton Leather, a motorcycle-apparel shop in Afton's Old Village.
"He wanted that hearse," Kathy said. "Before being cremated, he wanted to go for one last ride."

I know the guy who rode the lead bike with the DeHoop widow aboard. John DeHoop’s Harley is now in his garage.
Didn’t Ed Kretz have his ashes placed in an Indian tank?

LOL, good point! That dud was apparently a shooting victim.

Do you mean dude rather than dud?
Or ex-dude, as the case may be.
Harley-Davidson must be insanely jealous. All they got is drawings and depictions of skulls and demons. Now, Honda gets a jump on them with an actual stiff riding one (and the mortician did a darn good job of it, I think).
Now did he want the bike to be buried with his body? I wonder who would dare ride it now, especially at the stroke of midnight under a full moon on a narrow trail in a gnarly woods swept by a howling wind on Halloween with a black cat in his backpack.
That’s the only thing you’ll ever see riding a Honda is a stiff. LOL
Maybe they should bury him in Japan. That’s where his money went when he bought that bike.
Unfortunately a lot of your money goes there when you buy a Harley too.
