In the runup to WWII in Poland and many other countries in Europe, Jewish sections in many cities were subjected to grafitti being sprayed on businesses and homes with the word “Juden” (Jew).

Given the total human toll for WWII both in war dead and Hitler’s extermination efforts to eradicate the earth of Jews, I would like to think that humans have moved past the prejudice that has been created against Jews.

If we are unable to surpass this hatred of one group of people on the basis of their religion and ethnicity, I have to wonder why the same prejudices are not openly displayed toward those of the Islamic “faith”? Last time I looked, Jews weren’t trying to subject all non-Jews or exterminate them from the earth. The same can’t be said of a sect of the Islamic “faith”.
