N. Korea: Jailed American Attempted Suicide

(KCNA, Pyongyang = Yonhap News) Chang Yong-hoon = KCNA (N. Korea's state media) reported on Jul 9 that Aijalon Mahli Gomes, (an American) jailed in N. Korea, attempted suicide.

OK, NK pushed him over the edge to attempt suicide (not hard to do, they are good at it,) and publicize it to drag U.S. back into one-to-one talk with N. Korea. This is so transparent.

Forgot to add that this is my translation of original article in Korean, not the English article posted at Yonhap site.

Probably those highly advanced and clever North Korean interrogation techniques:

NorK Interrogator (holding gun to head of prisoner): “Answer this, have you seen the error of your ways and now wish to join the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea and work with us to build a better juche society?”

Prisoner: “Yes, yes, I have seen the error of my ways!”

NorK Interrogator: “You must be INSANE! NObody wants to live in this stinking Hellhole, are you playing me for a fool? Here, take this gun, shoot yourself, you’re crazy and would be better off dead!”

(Prisoner takes gun from NorK Interrogator, puts gun to his own head, pulls trigger)

NorK Interrogator: “HA! HA! HA! You think I would really hand you a gun with LIVE ammunition in it?!? Now we will try again, answer this question: have you seen the error of your ways and now wish to join the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea and work with us to build a better juche society?”

Prisoner: “No way, you juchebag! I want to be traded for a North Korean spy in America, have the Dear Leader call the other Dear Leader and arrange a spy swap!”

NorK Interrogator(w/sad, heavy sigh): “So very sorry, that is not possible, all of our spies have gone missing, they were afraid they might be traded back, and became traitors to our People, they chose a life of Starbucks coffee, McDonald Happy Meals, high speed Internet connections and Hooter’s Restaurants to the honorable Juche standard of weak watery tea, tree bark, and just one radio station.”

Prisoner: “Get some ammo, and let’s just shoot each other, ok?”

NorK Interrogator: “OK, you shoot me first.”

Prisoner: “My pleasure.”

True. They are squeezing like they always do. Get the most out of the SK or Americans. They ommit the part about beating him crazy. They are gifted in wringing, beating and then selling that back.

He was probably tortured:

If I had to guess I would say this guy probably may be pulling a Robert Park because his first name Aijalon is a religious name and his middle name of Mahli is another religious name. Robert Park went to North Korea to bring the word of Jesus and I wouldn't be surprised if this guy wasn’t trying to do the same thing. If he was than I think he is going to get the same treatment as Robert Park.

North Korea Detainee Aijalon Mahli Gomes

may have been inspired to enter the country by the incursion of a fellow American just four weeks earlier. The two were friends.

Christians do some things that look odd to secular folk, but to be perfectly fair when they take risks they generally know about it, they don’t go in blind. Bush might have been expected to try to do something, but Obama? It is to laugh.

Cuba used to be flypaper for American crackpots, they would hijack about one plane a week to get there. The U.S. announced it would provide free transportation to anyone who wanted to “defect” to Cuba and it stopped being such a popular hijacking destination. (I believe the Cubans began to return defecting hijackers, because they were crackpots and had no propaganda or public relations value to them.)

Like I believe that, as much as I believe the one about US Army Pvt. Joseph T. White (1982), who later mysteriously was reported to have drowned in a swimming accident (1985) in the North Korean Chongchang River (sic). One can only suspect he outlived his usefulness to the Norkies. Probably started whining about how he regretted defecting

All kinds of "accidents" happen in North Korea. Like with Megumi from Japan. It is lucky for the two American Al Gore liberal journalists they, too, did not end up as accidents.

What I heard about Robert Park was:

They interrogated him, slapped him around a good deal, but then one woman showed him kindness and mercy. Her job required her to be around him from time to time. Finally she gave herself physically to him, and he accepted.

The circumstances must have been just so that he was operating with incomplete information, because it turned out —much, muuuuuuch too late- that this “woman” was in fact a ladyBoy.

So the Norks have him on tape humping who is from the angle filmed quite obviously a ladyBoy.

The video was shot as a way of getting him to shut up after his release.
