I'm not ready to break out the tinfoil...yet.
But an early morning phone call to my church from someone purporting to be a Census worker has me wondering.
The alleged Census worker, after verifying the address, said that she had some questions for a "community health survey" about the employees' health insurance.
That certainly does not sound like the purpose for the Census listed in the Constitution!
they did not ask me that (although since I live in a majority Democrat area I have my suspicions that our family is getting counted multiple times)

Must be something different. Don’t recall the actual census having anything about health care.
It could also be a scam. But then again, so is the census.
They must be saving the best for last, because I have not received anything in the mail and they haven’t been to my house.
As for your case, it’s sure sounds like a scam to me....

Census workers don’t *call* you. They supposedly don’t know your phone number.

I recall years ago being told in a government meeting that government employees cannot identify themselves falsely. A GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE commits a crime by giving a flase name or employer, unless he/she has been allowed to do so by law (Example: an IRS employee whose life has been threatened and needs an alias).
So if this person said they were a census worker and they were not, a crime may have been committed....

They keep calling me, and I refused to put it on the form.

I never saw anything so stupid as that census form. It duplicated all the questions I have to answer on my tax return.

They lost the form we sent in and were waiting at my mailbox a couple of weeks later. No phone calls.
They’re not suppose to know anything but the address they’re investigating.
Otherwise, they’ve crossed into researching.
Just tell them the number of people livng there and whether it’s your main residence and they’ll leave you alone.
Very helpful information—the questions sound very intrustive and, until mandated by law, none of Big Brother’s business.
O wait, I forgot, Big BrotherObama’s business is business...takeovers, that is.
Plenty of others, don't. Like illegals. :-) Need to get them counted so that the Dems know how many votes they'll be able to buy with amnesty.
(putting on tinfoil hat) ....the REAL reason why Libs are so mad about the current goings-on in AZ is because so many illegals are self-deporting. They see a massive voting block moving to friendlier confines, or leaving the country entirely if more states file suit. 'Tis nothing to do with shouts of "racism" or "bigotry".... it's about who votes for whom.
