Bennett is hedging on Reid, just in case Reid gets elected. Bennett wants to make sure he can lobby Reid when he starts his new job as a lobbyist, just like all the retired pols do.

FDR could not get Reid re-elected.

A friend of mine from Nevada told me the other day that “root canals are more popular in my State than Harry Reid.”

Do you see the pattern here?

Bennett, Specter, Crist - old over the hill or egomaniac politicians that think it is their god-given right to remain in office until Armagedden. When the public finally wakes up and kicks their @$$e$ out, all semblance of loyalty goes out the window and they either switch parties or take pot shots. Ask yourself why it’s necessary for old codgers like KKK Byrdman to stay in office until his 90’s. Similarities apply to SCOTUS (but hopefully Kennedy will stick around until Kenya is out of office).

The Founding Fathers didn’t envision selfish shyster career politicians; that’s why term limits were not in the Constitution. It was time long ago.

Maybe he will take it easy for a while and do something relaxing, like tour airports with his buddy Larry Craig.
