Vice President Joe Biden (half-)joked to Jay Leno on the Tonight Show this evening that he wanted to include conservative talk radio king Rush Limbaugh as part of the spy swap that took place earlier today with Russia.
The Obama administration has targeted Limbaugh as an enemy of the regime since it came to power in January 2009.
The Associated Press reported on Biden's appearance on the Tonight Show:
Leno then showed a sultry photo of alleged Russian agent Anna Chapman and asked: "Are our spies this hot?"
Biden's reply, in a mock-serious tone: "Let me be clear. It was not my idea to send her back."
The vice president also said he had one more suggestion for the deal that was ignored.
"I thought they'd take Rush Limbaugh," he said.
Joking about Soviet-style exiling of your political opponents is apparently in fashion in the Obama administration. For the foreseeable future, Rush Limbaugh better make sure it's the real EIB One he's flying.
But McChrystal took the hit, so he will go down in history as actually saying it. Waite and see ... ;-)
Garbage like bambi and bite-me will eventually be taken to the heap and discarded, but, what does it say about a nation that would elect such tripe? Methinks we have a problem.
Biden disgraces the office he holds and the people he purports to represent. In eight years, can anyone remember George Bush or Dick Cheney publicly disparaging a private citizen?

The Vice President unknowingly just made Rush Limbaugh RELEVANT.
