“However, if the slaveholder kicks down a mere $2m to PUSH, all will be forgiven. Please make the check payable to: Blackmail, c/o Reverend and High Potentate Jesse Jackson.”

Funny how we never, ever hear The “Reverend” Jackson or the “Reverend” Sharpton complain about the slavery that still exists to this very day in Africa, along with parts of the middle and far east, among other places......

Over, above and aside from all the predictably laughable race-hustling and race-baiting rhetoric from Jackson, I have NEVER seen so much BS and so much focus in general collect around a professional sports figure as I have LeBron James, especially in the last few weeks. This is why I hate professional sports, except for horse racing (who are the true runaway slaves, now that I think of it.).

It’s obvious that Jesse and other race hustlers want total black ownership of the NBA. So much for everyone sitting together at the table of brotherhood.

“Obviously, there's an all consuming racial animosity in Jackson that is gratified by capitulation and moral, social and economic self flagellation by whites.”

No, it's not that deep. Jesse has just carved a financially lucrative niche in being a race hustling poverty pimp.

I wonder what Gilbert thinks about Jesse Jackson’s dislike of Jews and desire to forcibly remove Barack Obama’s family jewels (the Crown Jewels of Kenya?). Gilbert neither expressed any racism nor threatened violence. Things Jackass HAS done.

Gilbert was foolish from a business perspective to voice his inner thoughts but he can’t be blamed for his feelings. LeBron cost him big time, he’s pissed off, anyone would be.

I didn’t figure on some attention whore like Reverend Jackass making this racial and political. I should have. How utterly predictable.

I’m quite disgusted with Michael Wilbon of ESPN’s “PTI” for voicing his ignorant agreement with Jackson. Assuming I’m white is that racist of me to say that Mike? I watch ESPN when I DON’T want to hear what some left wing lunatic thinks about something.

This is the second time recently Wilbon has decided to act as a political pundit.

When Tony LaRussa Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals said he was for FOR the Arizona immigration law (good for him, refreshing to hear after Chi Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen voiced loud opposition) Wilbon at first defended his right to have an opinion then suggested maybe LaRussa would be in trouble cause his best player, legal immigrant Albert Pujols would surely have a problem with LaRussa daring to take such a position.

And now he’s saying crap like “Did one of his cotton pickers get away?”

Gilbert showed remarkable restraint in not telling Jesse to go fornicate himself. He says he won’t engage in any discussion of this. “Wilbon: There will be discussion whether he likes it or not. Gilbert needs black men to fill his roster”. Talk about it till your blue in the face Mike, no one cares.

Players of all colors I’m sure will negatively consider Gilbert’s remarks when faced with the choice to come to Cleveland or not.

But newsflash Mikey a white guy is allowed to be mad at a black guy for reasons that have nothing to do with race. Green is the relevant color here. Gilbert would have said the same thing if he were also black or if LeBron were white.

He sounds like an intelligent guy most of the time, what a shame he buys into what Jackson is pimping. Oh dear, is it racist to use the word “pimping” in reference to something a black man does?

BTW, I believe Gilbert is a Republican, no slave masters were Republicans. They were either Cotton Whigs or in Jackson and Wilbon’s democrat party.

If “PTI” is gonna turn into “Hannity and Colmes” they should at least get a someone with the balls to tell Wilbon that he’s full of it. His co-host for the day, Caucasian Bob Ryan was clearly terrified as he simpered that “I guess people of Color may have seen it different from me”. Only if they’re self-righteous prigs Bob.

If Jesse Jackson could find a way to inject himself into the Mel Gibson affair he would do so. He always tries to make himself part of a story. He must have been the inspiration for the movie, Forrest Gump.

I guess Wilbon is ashamed of his color, like so many white liberals. They think that somehow they’re guilty by association with slaveowners because they may share the same genetic makeup. I pity him. I wouldn’t want to hate myself everyday for a trait I was born with.

Nobody is saying LeBron James wasn’t allowed to decide where he wants to play, but we Cavaliers fans also have the right to be extremely pissed off. Your girlfriend has a right to dump you, it doesn’t make you less ticked off. LeBron essentially dumped the people of NE Ohio on national television. He didn’t even have the decency to tell the Cavaliers he was leaving until the announcement was made. He promised to bring the people of NE Ohio a championship and bolted before he could fulfill that promise. You better believe people should be angry with him. Do you also realize that LeBron leaving probably cost Dan Gilbert around $250 million by leaving. I think you’d be irate if you found out on national television that you just lost $200 million. Next time, don’t post on subjects you have very little knowledge about. Also, no conservative should ever defend Jesse Jackson.

*Nobody is saying LeBron James wasn’t allowed to decide where he wants to play, but we Cavaliers fans also have the right to be extremely pissed off.*

Who are you pissed off at? Lebron? The man owes you nothing.

*He didn’t even have the decency to tell the Cavaliers he was leaving until the announcement was made. *

What’s funny is that everyone else in the sports world KNEW he wouldn’t resign with Cleveland...except Cleveland? Give me a break.

*Next time, don’t post on subjects you have very little knowledge about. Also, no conservative should ever defend Jesse Jackson.*

Next time, try thinking logically about something—even if it is something as inconsequential as sports. Also, please point out where I defended Jackson. I do believe all I said was I had the same thought.

*He promised to bring the people of NE Ohio a championship and bolted before he could fulfill that promise*

Oh noes! Your life will be so unfulfilled. I guess you could always root for the Browns. Er, the Indians...um, never mind.

Being one completely oblivious to any sports whatsoever, I must ask.

Is Mr. James black?

Is Mr. James black?

Yes, and he makes upwards of 15 million a year. I don't begrudge him his earnings but to call him a slave is ridiculous.

Where was I thinking illogically? Emotional, yes, but I wasn’t illogical. If you don’t at least have a problem with the way LeBron conducted himself throughout this whole process that says more about you than it does me. What’s wrong with telling the team that signed your paycheck for the last seven years that you’re going elsewhere before announcing it on a one hour TV special?

Then Wilbon doesn’t have a guilt complex, just a black acting racist by painting a white man as a racist for trying to protect America by alluding to slave owners long dead living in a different world.

The Cavs had to know James wasn’t returning.

And if the Cavs owner thinks that going on a moronic tirade is going to help sign other big ticket free agents in the future, he’s in for a nasty surprise.
