who was i attacking? i merely stated that if loud pipes save lives than so do loud stereos.
as far as loud pipes, they’re not limited to harleys. lots of guys on metric cruisers have them, and there are tons of guys on sport bikes with them.
You gotta admit you’re a bit punchy towards Harley riders.

no, i don’t like the bikes. that’s my opinion.
i also abhor the “harley culture,” but that’s a whole different story.
but that’s not the riders- unless, as i said, they’re the elitest pricks that hate everything else based simply on the name, not on any kind of informed opinion.
you find those people in every situation with competing brands; chevy v ford, coke v pepsi, microbrew v macrobrew, etc. its just that in my experience, the harley riders are the worst offenders of brand warfare.
well.. maybe muscle car guys vs sport compact guys. they can get pretty nasty too.
Not laughing. She needs a little scooter to get around her retirement community and to take to the market. This could fit the bill.
Right now, she uses this mini, plug-in thingy that’s not road worthy so she’s stuck on the sidewalks and can’t go very far. it also doesn’t have any sort of lock/key so she’s hosed if someone decides they want to toss it in their trunk.
