...Sorry Dingy Harry, but YOU'RE the one at fault here. YOU'RE the one who is holding the unemployed hostage by your refusal to compromise on unemployment payments to try to score political points. YOU'RE the one who wants to pile on even more debt, even though the socialist-Europeans are even warning you against it. YOU'RE the one that wants to destroy the economy with even higher taxes by trying to shove cap-and-trade down our throats. YOU'RE the one in control of Congress.
Stop blaming others for your colossal failures.

No, actually, they’re hoping that it doesn’t fail utterly and completely before they’ve had a chance to try and salvage it.

Blame Blame Blame. I have no respect for these pansies. Everything they have wanted done, they have received. They hold both Congress and House for goodness sakes.

Alas, Harry’s logic has appeal to people with the IQ of a donut. Sadly, there are a lot of donuts voting out there these days...some of whom are actually dead. (Read up on Lake County, Indiana.) Too bad we can’t require a current events test for voting.

The sad part is that at least 1/3 of American voters will believe this lying piece of crap, without a shred of doubt in their vacuous little minds.

Come on Harry, that’s one of the most transparent and overused disinformation tactics there is. That was already threadbare here at Free Republic back in 2008.

Sure Harry. I want my investments and future to go the way of Pan Am airlines just to spite your pathetic self. Most of you in the political class are pitiful creatures with limited talents to good things, and even less understanding of the world most of us live in; but, most of you seem to have an enormous ego to go along with your incompetence. Having said that, wasn't it you and those who loyally vote for you who were rooting for a US loss in Iraq?
Despicable is way too nice a word for Mr. Reid.
To: Qbert
Actually, I’d bet that it’s the Democrats who are secretly hoping for the economy to (continue to) fail. That would mean we need more government programs, more restrictive nanny state laws, more state interference in the economy, more nationalization, QE2...

At a press conference announcing a package of proposals to help small business, the Nevada Democrat said Republicans were obstructing legislation to help the economy for political reasons.Hey Dingy Harry - if you are going to blame the Republicans for your failures at least let them have your office and all the chairmanships of all the committees!

Harry Reid is a turd and a liar. I want to see Americans in the same boat they were a few years ago where if you were a decent person would only take a week or two to find a good job if not a shorter period of time. You know like it was back when the republicans were deciding tax rates and stuff like that. You know the bad old Bush years where unemployment was under 6% and gasoline was $1.59 a gallon like it was in Jan ‘07 when the dems took over Congress.
To: Qbert
Every election cycle that I can remember, the Democratic mantra has been that the incumbent Republican has made the economy “the worst since Herbert Hoover”. Now that the economy REALLY is the worst since Hoover, and it’s the Democrats’ fault, it’s suddenly illegitimate to point it out.
Liberalism is worse than the plague.
