On being labeled as 'racist'
Politico ^ | 7/14/2010 | JENNY BETH MARTIN & MARK MECKLER

A clear pattern of behavior has emerged over the last 16 months. According to liberals, if you disagree with their thinking, and if you disagree with the Obama administration, you are not only wrong, you are a “racist.”

The latest strike by the left comes from the NAACP, which has resolved that the tea party movement is inherently “racist.” At its most simple, this is a direct attack on the First Amendment rights of millions of Americans.

The NAACP has long history of liberalism and racism.

If you are a conservative — including a conservative African-American — there is no room for you at the NAACP. If you have opinions that differ from the NAACP and the liberal establishment, and if you are African-American, you are an “Uncle Tom,” a “negro,” “not black enough” and “against our people.”

In other words, the NAACP fancies itself the thought police for millions of black Americans. Disagree with them and you will be ostracized and attacked. You will be subjected to public humiliation and racist commentary from NAACP leadership. The message is clear: Tow the line or pay the price.

But the NAACP does not stand alone in this regard. The left has a long history of using the race card. It has been pulled on people across the political spectrum.

President Bill Clinton was smeared as a racist by the Obama campaign when Hillary Clinton was running for president. It seems that anyone who disagrees with the far left, socialist policies of Barack Obama and the current administration is subject to the heavy hand of the race card.

When the Jerimiah Wright stuff came out about Obama, I think the Left gnashed their teeth.

It is obvious that cries of racism are used to inflame the black voters to encourage them to vote against “Whitey” aka the Republican Party. It is a tool for the Democrats and they use it constantly.

We should take it with a grain of salt.

The left has failed to realize that the Race Card doesn’t work anymore.

My advice is not to take it at all. Any persons or organizations that use the race card are filthy race-baiters. Do not be courteous or nuanced to these people.

Instead, shove their racist lies up their asses. Do it right away.

Racist, anti-semite, islamaphobe, “denier” of whatever. Disagree with the conclusions of any self annointed victim class and you’re vunerable to such condemnations. Fortuneately such currencys effectiveness has fallen into the league of Zimbabwe notes.

Meanwhile, THEY are the racists! See my earlier post on Obama's "Black Liberation Theology". He says in one of his books that he drew lots of inspiration from BLT.

Instead say: "You're a disgusting race-baiter. Martin Luther King would have spat in your eye. You racist piece of filth."

Sorry but it is you that is playing their game. By embracing the word you give power to it. The power that is keeping the right constantly on their heels. The power that manipulates the right to jump when they say jump. This crap has been going on since day one with the Tea Party. We are still dancing to their tune and look how much time, energy, waste and backing up goes into it. A word BTW that has no real meaning except evil white guy. By owning the word it loses all its power. Ever notice the left pays no mind whatsoever to being labeled as such? Ever noticed in spite of race and race issues there are hundreds/thousands of race groups, laws and policies? How can that be? Only because the whole race game has but one purpose and it is working as intended because the right in general and whites specifically continue to play the game.

I work at a university. You ought to hear the BS that goes on here.

You can’t walk in a hall or turn a corner without listening to some a^% hat (professor OR student) babbling on about ‘racism’ they have experienced or that ‘racists’ are everywhere, racism, racism……etc.

Professors in America were bought and paid for long ago and this misfortune is mirrored in the perfect lack of imagination, academic curiosity or political resourcefulness demonstrated by young people.

The most depressing part about this is that students, who know absolutely NOTHING else, have THIS reactionary and groundless Liberal ‘catechism’ down pat. Professors’ criminal and intellectual malfeasance guarantees that students are directly and summarily defrauded of their right to consider ALL and EVERYTHING fully and without bias. If students could do as well remembering their coursework or as successfully commit their lessons to rote, they’d be doing something. In the mean time… they walk around just like mindless little programmed automatons!! Academic rigor is incidental to Liberalism in this place.

It is my belief that wholesome, valid and time abiding personal core convictions are closely tied to (impossible without) education and experience. On their own, young people cannot possibly possess much less produce such extreme and biased opinions. It follows then, that a student’s education is incomplete and his/her experience is limited….so guess where their biased and extremist views came from!!!

If the state of public education has not interfered with your digestion yet, you have a stronger stomach than I do.

when my hubby took courses to become certified for management - he had to take a course on racial oppression where they taught him that every white guy looking to be “the boss” - like him - were the cause of all evil in the world.

He called it “jumping through hoops”.
You show up to class - you do your best not to piss off the lib prof. - and then they give you a piece of paper declaring you “educated”.

By refusing to react to the word 'racist' in the Pavlovian way they want, we are playing their game?

Wrong!

By correctly labeling the left as racists, we are playing their game?

Wrong!

The word 'racist' does mean something. That's why it has power. The left are terrified that we might correctly ascribe to them, so they continually bombard us with it in a classic display of projection.

Do not be afraid to use the word immediately and without compunction on race-baiters. Anyone who calls you a racist for no reason is a racist. They are using race in a toxic and hateful way. That's racism..

Rebuke them, accuse them, shove their hateful race-baiting up their asses.

But for the love of all that is good: do NOT demurely accept without protesting whatever name the left gives you. That is very close to being cooperation with evil.
