WASHINGTON - Cab driver Abraham Habteab says around 2 p.m., he picked up a well-dressed passenger at Union Station who wanted to ride to a hotel in Southwest D.C.
"He wanted me to drop him off and put his luggage inside the hotel and he wanted me to take him to a different location," said Habteab.
What a rat.
There is a hilarious earlier version of this post, where freepers have posted the many ways the cabbie could have recognized Nadler. My contribution was: When he got in the cab, the cabbie would have heard the sound of the muffler scraping the pavement.
The liberal elite again. These SOB democrats think they are better than the common man. They make rules for ordinary mortals to obey, which they ignore. They have set up for themselves a very cozy life, with our contributions, with the best of benefits for themselves while they tell us to eat cake.
(actually that’s not what they tell us to eat, but this is a family forum)

Nadler had bariatric surgery so he’s not quite the whale he was in the past.
That said, the bastard comes out of the hotel and jumps into a different taxi, stiffing the first driver.
What a creep! I bet as a congressman he gets reimbursed for travel expenses too. Watch what they do much more than what they say.

the real story is the DC cab driver spoke English....
Any I've met over the years are English challenged but, according to them, are all enrolled in postgraduate studies at George Washington U, or one of the other institutes of higher learning in the DC area.
Three Democrat Congressmen were standing around talking about how they got votes. One said he gave his cabby a fifty dollar tip and told him to vote Democrat. The other said he gave his cabby a hundred dollar tip and told him to vote Democrat. The third said he stiffed the driver and told him to vote Republican.
Am I the only one who finds it odd a congressperson is checking into a hotel in DC? Most rent or own their ‘local’ digs.
Could there be something more malodorous than Nadler’s B.O.?
