CNN Reporter Dana Bash Laughs as Kathy Griffin Calls Scott Brown’s Daughters ‘Prostitutes’

On her Bravo TV show Tuesday night, left-wing comedian Kathy Griffin referred to Sen. Scott Brown's two daughters as "prostitutes," and a CNN reporter apparently thought it hysterical. [Audio available here.]

Griffin, who was readying herself for a trip to Washington, DC to rally and drum up support for a repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," brought CNN reporters (husband and wife) Dana Bash and John King onto the show to "coach" her for handling Washington. Bash is a congressional correspondent for CNN, while King anchors the news hour "John King, USA."

When the couple showed Griffin a picture of Sen. Scott Brown and asked her to identify the figure, she responded "Scott Brown – who is a senator from Massachusetts, and has two daughters that are prostitutes."

Bash erupted with laughter, while King grimaced.

Well, as much as I dislike admitting it, you are correct.

I am a former staff aide of the Mass. State Senate.

I learned a lot in that gig - but it is also the reason why I moved out of the Bay State in 1977.

Who did I get to know while on staff? Let’s see: Billy Delahunt, Ed Markey, Barney Frank, Mike Dukakis and a host of others.

Notice, please, how much good these cretins have done for Massachusetts and the nation.

Scott Brown? Better than nothing. He’s kind of like a white Ed Brooke(he was on my black list). :)

How is this remotely funny? Seriously.

John King is married? I thought he was a rump ranger like Anderson Cooper. As for Kathy Griffin, she’s couldn’t get a “john” even if she gave it away.

I wonder what would happen if that kind of vitriol was spewed about daughters of reporters.... It probably wouldn't be funny to them.

Yes—now, I think Scott won by 5 percentage points or
something. Imagine if he campaigned as a strict conservative.

You could call a certain number in D.C. (or back in Boston) today and they would answer, “Good afternoon, Senator Coakley’s office...”

And once again I will remind those from out of state:
MASS
Gov, Lt Gov, Treasurer, Auditor, Secy of Commonwealth—all D

Senators: One R, one D

US Reps—10, all D

State legislator roll call votes, by party: D, D, D, D, D, D, D, D, R, D, D, D, D, D, D, D, D, D, R, D, D, D...

You get the picture.

Election night, 1/19/10; Martha Coakley is beaming as she prepares to take the podium to give her victory speech.
The local TV station anchor is saying, “The Republican party’s candidate ran as conservative in every way,
and Coakley beat him by a 9 to 1 margin...Now let’s go to the podium to hear from our new Senator....”

Talking of Dana Bash, her sweet face brought back a memory of a sort of lookalike. She was Jennifer Wilbanks "the runaway bride" of Duluth Georgia. I checked and found Jennifer has just found her man this year.

I would have though, that the laugh would have been the reaction of dear old well preserved Joy Behar, not a professional like Bash. At least the gentleman had politeness to wince. Somehow he does exude class, though some may think he is in the Democrat camp.

I watched Griffin greeting the New Year with a host for the New York celebration. The host read an e-mail which told Griffin to just shut up. Even he was put off with Kathy.

That was nothing but a childish slam on a public figure. It was a complete setup and not something I’d expect from a news organization. CNN stopped being a news organization 25 years ago.

Brown ought to just go ahead and file suit against CNN and make this a public fight to show the world what morons CNN employs.

I would hope that eventually we would move to the right bit by bit and perhaps someday a true conservative will get elected. The way the Commonwealth is, I’m not sure if that will even happen. But otherwise you would just have Dems/libs winning year after year after year. You need to try to warm people up to the outrageous idea that Massachusetts need not be a one party state and that sometimes the conservative point of view needs to be represented.

The fact Brown won was amazing, esp. his “surge” just before
election day. Would a true conservative do the same? Remember,
this is Massachusetts...at least some “independent” voters
went for Brown. SOME people “got it” this time, but would it happen again?

And, Kathy Griffin seduces and molests young girls. Ha, ha, ha.

There is no reason to immune pigs like Griffin from lawsuits just because their targets are the family members of politicians.

CNN has no credibility but if those running it had any decency Bash would be terminated.

“SOME people “got it” this time, but would it happen again?”

Haven’t Chairman Maobama’s excesses energized his opposition?
