Do we have 15 Freepers in the DC area who would care to go pray in the same spot tomorrow?

Sigh. I can understand that there are stupid policemen. What’s sad is that the atmosphere in the country is such that the stupid would think that it’s against the law to pray on government property.

Pray anyway. If they get arrested, they should insist for the “libtard” treatment - e.g., they get released with no charges.

Hey, it worked for the Black libtard idiot sleazebag soon to be sliced, diced, and disposed of Black B*st-—oops, Panthers.

Would the cops have interfered if they had knelt down on prayer rugs facing Mecca?

Government buildings where prayer should be mandatory 24/7 WH, Capital, Supreme Court. Or maybe a good exorcism.

The police officer should have been ignored and the kids should have kept praying. Let the media make a big thing about it.

Some federal security in D.C. are long on zeal and short on sense.
I remember the time I was at the National Archives a few years ago, and someone was trying to take a photograph of the original Bill of Rights through the glass. The uniformed security cop (a chubby black lady, looked to be about 25 or so) stepped up to him and said, "No pictures!"
He replied, "There's no flash! The sign says No Flash Pictures."
She repeated, louder, "No pictures!"
He didn't get his picture.

I’ve watch a lot of people “praying” in my time.

I never really knew if they were really praying,
or just thinking about the horses they would be
betting on later.

God knew.

And, now it looks like the government can tell.

?

This is starting to get serious now. It has almost come to a point where it becomes a very dangerous road. You can not prevent people from praying. You just can not infringe on the their right of free speech and freedom of religion.

I would say people better start preparing for war because this is a direct infringement of a constitutional right! As is telling people the can't pray on public street corners, or praying during school sporting events.

A group of Christian students was ordered to stop praying outside the U.S. Supreme Court building on May 5 because a court police officer told them it was against the law.

And they listened to him or kept praying?

Does anyone have a wild guess as to what law the officer was invoking?

The cops must now be invoking the law of the jungle in DC.

The irony is there are reference to the Bible inside the court room in the art. Built in the 1930's

Ten Commandments in the Courtroom

...a court police officer told them it was against the law.
Quick way to put a stop to this, demand the officer's name etc, and if he doesn't want to give it, tell him to be fruitful and multiply (euphemism); if he does give it, make it go viral on the www, preferably with a cameraphone picture of his stupid ass. Last thing the Demwits need is to have something like this blow up during the Elena Kagan BS, and less than four months to go until the election.

The students would have been OK if they’d been led in prayer by an imam...
