Obama: I expect to be held accountable on jobs, but I’d prefer that you hold Bush accountable

How strange that our very successful president would choose this tack instead of emphasizing his very successful policy successes.

Maybe he’s just modest.

Americans, Obama said Thursday, don’t have a “selective memory.”

“They’re going remember the policies that got us into this mess as well,” Obama said, referring to the previous Republican administration. “And they sure as heck don’t want to go back to those.”…

“It’s hard because you don’t see immediate gratification,” the president acknowledged Thursday. He said his message to people out of work was that his administration was doing everything possible to create an environment in which private sector jobs could expand.

“But I’m not any more satisfied than they are,” Obama said. “And until they can find a job, I expect to be held accountable.”

Yeah. Well, I’d prefer to wake up tomorrow morning to the news that you had sprouted gauzy blue wings and flown off to the Mother Ship. That ain’t gonna happen either, Sunshine.

And a complicit media will do everything to perpetuate the lie. Obama is still a community organizer—he can only blame. Accountability is a foreign concept for his ilk.

Oh you mean the same policies that helped you sue Citibank?

Suspend the Capital Gains Tax, make Bush Tax Cuts premament, open up more sites for drilling and minning of Oil, Natural Gas, and Coal. These three things would jump start the economy and not cost a single red cent in tax dollars.

The messiah doesn't expect to ever be accountable for anything he does during his four year (or less) term. AND a gullible worshiping American public will go along with this charade. I have relatives who still say this poor guy can't get a break what with having to “fix” eight years of Bush's destruction. Poor bammy really has his hands full fixing this mess. Where were the RATS when Freddie and Fanny were up to their tricks of “housing for all”? Try getting into a conversation about that issue with someone who ONLY get’s their information from the 6pm news on ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN.

Exactly what we all said he’d do. He wouldn’t fix the economy like he said he would then would pull the “it could be worse” game.

It’s obvious more and more each day that the Great Depression should have ended much sooner, and it’s almost like we’re repeating the same pattern.

Hopefully with the internetS being around these days people won’t be so willing to buy the it-could-be-worse-excuse.

He was supposed to fix the economy—said UE would not go over 8 percent. Period.

All that makes too much sense to these clowns in DC...

We're in deep, deep economic trouble. And these liberals are going to friggin' sing and dance along, all the way, as they dance off a cliff.

WAKE UP AMERICA!

It’s his watch. The liberals dropped the word ‘inherited’ from their vocabulary during Bush.

I do believe presidents inherit things, but the libs for so many years have put Republicans up to a standard that now Obama is having to deal with himself. It’s nice to see.

I don’t believe he ever had any intention on fixing the economy. He needs it to get much worse in order to have complete control over the masses. I still believe it is his intention to bring the people of this country to their knees. Every policy he has made, has taken us down a little further each time.

...he makes my skin crawl!
