A sign? Shaking the foundations...

Psalm 11:3

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

We’re in Fallsgrove in Rockville. Apparently quite close to the epicenter.

The loud rumble woke me up- sounded like Rolling Thunder- then the shaking started a tic later. The seat of the pants sensation was that the ‘shaking’ was evenly spaced but the intensity increased, peaked, then tapered off.

Lasted about 10 seconds.

Since it was non-destructive, it was kinda cool.

“As long as God sends some angels to warn the good people to get out first!”

Ain’t nowhere to run. How many warnings does it take? This world belongs to Creation and its Creator, and if we are meant to stay here, we will. If not, then the Creator has other plans for us. I accept that to the core of my being.

This WAS a courtesy call. And it isn’t the first one either.

It’s baffling when you aren’t used to them.... Does not compute!

You're right! I'm in Alexandria - by the time I processed WTF that was, it was over. And I only figured it out because we had one around 2003 and I didn't know what it was until I heard about it on the local news.

It’s just amazing watching those C-5s almost hover on approach to landing.

It's an optical illusion. They are just so big, they seem slow.

Their stall speed must be absurdly slow.

Not slow enough.

It's because BP capped the oil and now it has to relieve pressure somewhere.
