Half the Israeli public wants the Holy Temple (Beit HaMikdash) to be rebuilt. This is the main finding of a poll commissioned by the Knesset Television Channel and carried out by the Panels Institute.
The poll was taken in advance of this Tuesday’s national day of mourning, known as Tisha B’Av, on which the two Holy Temples in Jerusalem were destroyed, 2,000 and 2,500 years ago, respectively.
Forty nine percent said they want the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, while 23% said they do not. The remainder said they were unsure.

That's a pretty big "unsure" percentage. ...especially considering the politically well-informed and opinionated public.
Id like to see it rebuilt if for no other reason than to enjoy the islamos drown in their own frothing lather.
Dome of the rock has to go for that to happen, will be a pleasure watching it be demolished.
They had their chance to take it out during the battle for Jerusalem of 1967, but opted afterwards to instead try "co-existence" with their warring neighbors.
Did the same thing when first entering the promised land with Joshua and those nations not obliterated became a thorn in their side - Hmmmmm. (Those people practiced child sacrifice, by the way.)
Pray for an act of G-d an earthquake that will level only it.

A number of these folks also yearn to see the re-establishment of animal sacrifices. You'd almost think the blood of Jesus Christ wasn't good enough to please them.

With all due respect to you, RJR_fan, you are confusing the Church with Israel.
The Church is and forever will be distinct from the nation, Israel. There will be a third temple in Jerusalem. The Bible says it’s true.
So, how will the Abomination that causes Desolation, going to happen, by the Anti-Christ and stops temple sacrifices, as Revelations says?
There needs to be a physical temple to have that happen.
Temple sacrifices ended about 2,000 years ago..
